Syracuse Cooperative Market is a community-owned grocery store in Syracuse, NY, known for its organic and local foods, including unique vegan options, bulk grains, beans, and spices. The store has a nostalgic feel with creaky wood floors and friendly staff, reminiscent of old corner stores. It offers a good selection of craft beers and participates in programs like the New York State Double Up Food Bucks, helping SNAP recipients buy fresh produce. While the store provides a convenient place to do all grocery shopping and find good snacks, some find it a bit pricey and note that it lacks diversity, with a sometimes unfriendly atmosphere depending on demographic factors. Overall, it is appreciated for its high-quality items, local products, and excellent customer service, making it a valued fixture in the neighborhood.
Great little store. I enjoy and look forward to what they make and put out in the case. They have some good produce and other things there as well

Been shopping at the coop for years, after leaving Syracuse, and living in the South and in Southern California for years, and comparing it to some European coops I can say the coop is a GEM. There are few places that does what the coop strives to do, and the Syracuse Coop does it far better than most who try.
