“Trader Joe's is always a fun trip. I make the pilgrimage for my favorites. The only drawback is, everyone loves Trader Joe's. They could use a little more space.”
“I've been coming here since I was 5yrs old, that's 54years worth , I still love to go and browse . Always something new if you look . Saturday food , Sunday flea market. Highly recommend if you've never been .”
“Syracuse's best kept secret. This place is easy to miss when driving down the road, but if you look closely their parking lot is always full. Once you try their food, you'll understand why. The staff is always friendly and make you feel very welcome. They have a wide variety of hot meal combos, burgers, appetizers and huge deli sandwiches. If you want something fairly fast, affordable, and great tasting this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend their meatballs, italian deli sandwich and fried cheesecurds. Be sure to bring cash, they keep things old school.”
“Pretty good food, lots of interesting stuff! Personally with the name I was hoping for a range of goods from more parts of Europe, but what they do have is good, so I don't see a reason to dock a star for something that was my misunderstanding.”
“It's an easy store to get around. Good selection of things you may need, but maybe not and not all grocery stores are the same. The shrimp is really good here and seafood options. Bargains or sale from time to time to sale off meats off faster just have to look.”
“Albrecht Discount has a somewhat reliable selection of groceries at generally fair prices so we do most of our grocery shopping there at the moment. They also some great deals on odd stuff that go fast. The produce never lasts as long as some other places but that might be because its more organic.”
“The owner is very friendly,he will go above and beyond to help his customers great store to purchase cell phone plans, always manages to hook customers up with a great deal!”
“Been coming to this store for years. They’re basically family now. Today came on for a salad before work and as soon as I walked in I was greeted. As I got my salad the associate helping me was very positive and helpful. The salad turned out amazing and will be coming back for more food.!”
“They do a great job with the store and what they offer public for the products that they carry!! Some excellent buys in every isle especially spices and cheese and meats!”
“This is what an African market should be like.
Looks and smells clean. Items neatly arranged and goods are not expired. Can’t say the same for some others unfortunately.
I would only wish that more items are added to the stock.”
“This is your go-to for health foods and fun products that often aid in the transition away from the horrid food most of us eat everyday, to getting back to how humans were supposed to eat. They have many products that are otherwise hard to find in Syracuse (surprisingly! No Whole Foods, no Natural Grocers, no Sprouts, no large-scale Co Ops).
Also, eating healthy isn’t as expensive as you think. This place won’t price gauge you.”

“Great little neighborhood store that offers alot of items besides cooked food or fresh meats. Store is kept clean and orderly. The staff are also very great people. Did I mention they have the best subs in Syracuse”
“Best store ever!!! Convenient and really friendly people! I recommend this store and it’s right next to the liquor store so convenient.... close to where I am. Thank you guys for putting this store here!! (Also amazing prices and deals)”
“I have to say now days that you don’t get customer service like the young lady who name is Zanigha, I don’t know if I spelled that right but if I had to vote on any store for the best customer service it would be her. I hope ya keep her around before someone scoop her up so treat her right because you just don’t get good service like that anymore. 5 stars for her.”
“Didn't find what I needed (a specific brand of fenugreek leaves), but the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. UPDATE: They carry a very good kasseri cheese.”
“Syracuse Cooperative Market is a wonderful neighborhood grocery store with a great selection of fresh, high-quality products. Although it is smaller than a typical supermarket, it carries a thoughtfully curated range of organic produce, local products, fresh bakery items, dairy, and specialty groceries that are difficult to find elsewhere.
The store is clean, well organized, and easy to browse. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to help if you have any questions or need recommendations.
Prices can be a little higher than those at larger grocery chains, but that’s understandable given the focus on local, organic, and sustainably sourced products. If you value fresh ingredients and enjoy supporting local farmers and producers, Syracuse Cooperative Market is definitely worth a visit.”
“Great little store. Store has most things that you may want or need prior to going to a larger grocery store. Store has a lunch menu that will fit your taste. Great owners.”
“The Boss Lady is cute.
Great selection of African groceries and Mediterranean staples to make healthy cuisines. Price is reasonable and very friendly customer service.”
“It's honestly your general bodega experience, the selection isn't bad, and some things are priced well, I haven't had the food, but I'll update if I do. Cashier when I went wasn't rude, overall I've been to much worse bodegas and corner ”
“We like a lot of their products, it's expensive bur worth the price. Unfortunately though last time we went we bought some products that were not refrigeratied that should have been. Both contained meat and were expensive. I am sure they are sourced locally from a bakery but they should be stored properly and labeled and dated. 24$ wasted sadly. Great establishment though and friendly customer service.”
“I was always coming here when I lived in Rome, New York that was 20 years ago how amazing that this place is still in business so clean and organized and what a great selection. I love how they still have meat to choose from. I would always come here for the bread and the meat and all my snacks. I’m happy to see that this store is still thriving. I pray over that it does good so I can keep visiting it from years to come.”
“Top quality produce for the lowest price! Even for the same product, it is often 10% lower than other groceries stores around the area. Just remember to bring a $0.25 coin so you can rent the cart.”
“Haas is great guy. True business owner that cares about his customers and his community. His store has a wide selection of beer and drinks. Also has chicken wings that are out of this world. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. If you are in the area, stop in and grab some beer or wings and subs. You won't be disappointed.”
“The nicest corner store in my area. Stephen and Abdul are the best. They are truly very friendly. I highly recommend having the steak, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. They are delicious!Seriously folks, I absolutely love shopping and seeing these guy's. I'm greeted with warm smiles and pleasant greetings. Thank you so much and God bless. Thank you!”
“Absolutely love shopping here! The staff is always amazing, but Dariel truly stood out today. I needed help in the dairy/cheese section and he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. He went above and beyond by checking in the back to make sure they had the item I was looking for. That kind of service is rare and very appreciated!
Every visit is a great experience thanks to team members like Dariel. Highly recommend this store!”
“I got 3 flavors of jerky sweet & spicy, Original, and Bourbon and I recommend the Sweet & Spicy the most. What is nice about this place is they also let you sample the jerky before you buy it, also they have weird jerky such as Shark Jerky, Kangaroo Jerky, Alligator jerky and ( what I think is the weirdest) Burmese Python Jerky and they have little prank candy such as chocolate covered crickets and meal worm lollipops or even ant wafers, super cool store the stop in if your making your way around the mall and their prices aren’t bad.”
“They always have interesting selections of food and cookware! And their baked goods are to die for, I was never a fan of red bean paste but red bean buns from here are awesome!”
“Kabul Bazaar is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The store has a wide selection of halal meats, spices, and specialty foods that are hard to find elsewhere. Everything felt fresh and well organized, making shopping easy and enjoyable. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with any questions. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their offerings.”
“I was going to write a whole essay about this place but all you really need to know is the service is exceptional and the sandwiches are outstanding. I got the Catherine with some add ons and the owner was more than happy to make any and all adjustments I asked for. The bread is perfection, and the quality of the meat and cheese speaks for itself. Seriously, must try.”
