Syracuse Cooperative Market is the downtown grocery store with very convenient hours seven days a week. The staff are great and customer service has improved. It offers excellent quality products with a pretty great selection. The produce is always fair to great in quality and includes many organic and international items. Specific highlights include Ithaca Milk, Heidelberg bread, Cosmic Crisp organic apples, butter, yogurt, and kombucha tea. However, prices are a little on the ridiculous side, and the bakery cookies are noted as always bad. The market also provides fantastic catering. They can accommodate vegan diets, offering vegan sandwiches, scones, and cheese platters. Their catering menu includes sandwich platters, charcuterie, veggie platters, and fruit platters, all described as delicious, fresh, flavorful, beautiful, and appealing. The staff handles setup with real plates and silverware. Ordering and paying is easy. It is a lovely coop that promotes local suppliers, balancing customer and supplier needs. The experience is highly recommended for parties or gatherings.
There are a few items I purchase here. Ithaca Milk. Minimally processed cream on top. Fantastic. Heidelberg bread out of Herkimer NY and Cosmic Crisp organic apples. Butter and yogurt along with kombucha tea. Customer service has improved as of late.
