“I love this place it’s always clean and staff is amazing always very nice and helpful and knows me and my family by name they always have what I am looking for there food is always fresh unlike the 711s by my job It is close to my house and that helps but I will go out of my way to just to go to this one I work like 30 mins away and I go here before or after work at least a few times a week and I plan to keep going here for many years to come”

“Searched out this place for ethanol free fuel for my snowblower. Having read on multiple snowblower forums, it's the fuel of choice.
Arrived on a Saturday afternoon, the day before the big storm was to hit Long island, and the amount of people standing and waiting with their gas cans for this was insane.
I asked the pump clerk is this a normal occurence and he said pretty much.
Overall a cozy gas station, friendly staff and one of the only places on the north shore of Long Island that offers ethanol free fuel.”

Their prices are above-average but what do you expect a small business to do trying to survive in Suffolk county New York. “New local father & son business. Very fast, decent prices, and good work! Mechanic is very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the Saint James area who needs quick and reliable work as it’s not usually busy. I believe this place is under new management so all older reviews are likely outdated and unrelated.
I decided to try this place out for the first time as I live within walking distance. I have an older car (‘98 Mitsubishi Eclipse) and was having problems with a check engine light throwing a misfire code. I dropped it off at K D S on a Thursday around 4pm, and by 6pm I had gotten a call back regarding my car. The mechanic diagnosed my car completely free of charge and informed me the misfire was coming from a leak in my exhaust and not from the engine itself. We arranged to have him fix the problem the following day. He told me it would be $250 for the fix, and offered to include a tune up package (spark plugs, filters, etc.) for another $150 as well as an oil change for $75. While the oil change was a bit expensive the rest of the prices were reasonable enough for me.
The next day I dropped my car off around noon. K D S closes at 7:00pm, but I wasn’t going to be back until 7:30. I informed the mechanic and he agreed to leave the key for me so I could grab the car after they closed. When I got there at 7:30, he was there still working on my car, and said he needed another 30 min. I came back once it was done, and he did not charge me anything more than the price we discussed even though it kept him there late. Have had no problems with the work he did and the car runs great. 10/10, would recommend.”

“This shop has the best glasswork. Very nice staff, especially Alivia. It would be really cool if there were tarot readings offered and musical instruments sold. Maybe some ornamental crystal diffraction for aesthetics. Could use a more psychadelic atmosphere but again, great for what it's for. The glass is well blown. I had one piece that withstood a good dozen falls onto concrete without shattering. Here's the blueprints for the electric guitar bong!”

“A delightful hispanic minimart with a busy canteen style hot food offering what I think a Puerto ?? style cuisine. To go a large combo of arroz gandules,i think, chunk of pernil with cuero or crispy pork skin, pink beans and fried plantains. Amazingly delicious and more than enough for 3 persons plus some leftovers. All for less than $ 18. Counter staff were quick and friendly. Busy bfast crowd but got served w/o wait.”
