We ended up parking on the side street that had metered parking.

“One of the best small businesses in Pleasantville. Located right on Wheeler so it’s close to everything and easy to walk to. The owner and staff are all wonderful: sweet, helpful and the shop is very well maintained. I came here to rent a suit in a pinch and found the staff here to be very helpful and friendly. While I'm told they usually do tuxedos and other wedding related rentals, they were able to set me up with a three piece suit at a very reasonable price that worked nicely for the occasion. I was very happy with with they gave me and I'd highly recommend giving this local business your patronage.”

“I’m so happy that we have Melita’s in Ossining!!! I was looking for some new dresses that I could wear to work or out on the weekends, and found so many beautiful items to add to my wardrobe! They have such a nice selection of light and flowy dresses at very reasonable prices. I had been looking around and couldn’t find anything until I stepped inside Melitas! I was about to go shopping in the city, so this saved me a trip. They also have a lovely selection of children’s clothes. I’ve purchased clothes for my kids and also baby gifts from Melitas, as well as beautiful scarves and jewelry for my family and daughter’s teachers for the holidays. The store is located right near the coffee shop on the Main Street in Ossining. It’s a beautiful store and they make you feel very welcome the moment you step into the store. “If you ever have an emergency, go to Pamela Robbins. This will make sense if you stick around until the end. But first! The review: At the recommendation of my neighbor I went to Pamela Robbin’s for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I had the most amazing experience - 1.the selection was gorgeous, perfectly curated 2. the service was unbelievable, the women were instantly pulling items for me. They never even asked my size (this is how I learned I’ve been buying jeans 3 sizes too large). I was given a full on styling session. Truly professional stylists. My online shopping addiction has been cured and I no longer look like a frump. Winning!
That leads us today. I pull into an open spot in downtown Scarsdale for an 11am appointment. I hop out of the car ready to take on the day. I look fabulous - mainly because I’m wearing a couple of the items I purchased from Pamela Robbins! As I’m feeling myself, I hear something fall to the ground and land….5 feet down in the storm drain. What could it be? Ahh my phone, because duh. I quickly realize that I cannot pay for the parking (I use the app), I cannot phone a friend, or anyone else for that matter. So I look around for a safe haven and what do I see sparkling in the distance, Pamela Robbins! I go inside, flustered and eyeing the parking attendant and tell the ladies what happened. They immediately pay for my parking and offer to call the police station to let them know we need help getting a phone. I am endlessly thankful and rush to my appointment. After my appointment, I head back to the store to leave a number they can reach me at in the event my phone is recovered only to discover that they already had it! My day was saved by 4 firefighters and 3 fan-freaking-tastic women. They have a customer for life in me (though they already did before the phone fiasco!). Women helping women is the very best of us, and they jumped in immediately. I realize a phone in a drain isn’t exactly newsworthy, but what could’ve been a massive headache became nothing more than a minor inconvenience (and a funny story!). I appreciate it so much!”

“Stopped here yesterday for a pair of much needed kid's flip flops. There was a sales associate near the front door (all other methods of entry/exit were closed) welcoming me & ensuring mask adherence; hand sanitizer available upon entry; clearly marked signage everywhere to help ensure social distancing and mask adherence; every sales associate was wearing a mask (accurately- over the nose & close fitting); plexiglass encased each register/check-out area (another bottle of hand sanitizer was available at each register area), etc.All sales associates were professional, helpful and courteous. This is the first time I have ventured into a non-grocery type store since March of this year due to Covid. I was very happy to see that the management of this store takes the health and safety of both their employees and the public seriously.”
