“Over a decade ago, I used to visit Buffalo and the surrounding area often. I'd frequent Williamsville a lot, especially this Kohl's. This store was my introduction to the chain and Kohl's cash. Last month, my original plan was to stay in Buffalo. I changed my mind and ended up in Niagara Falls for the first time. However, I had placed an order for pickup at this store, to stroll down memory lane and take advantage of a sale on a pair of Vans sneakers. Sure, I could have found a closer Kohl's, but I wanted to return to where my love for this chain started. My drive was pleasant after work on a Monday evening. It felt the same. I pulled into the parking lot, and was happy to see this store was still alive and kicking. The difference was that Sephora wasn't a part of this Kohl's back then. It was my first time picking up an order here, which was also new to me at this store. I walked in and noticed how clean it was. Spring and gardening merchandise greeted me. It was cheerful and inviting. There were signs pointing me to the washroom and the self-pickup order area. The former seemed like a good idea. The powder area (seems so dated as a term, but it's what I'm going to call it) was pretty, with a flower arrangement in front of a large mirror. The women's washroom was nicely maintained. It was clean. No complaints. I headed over to the self-pickup order area. The process is to find your e-mail indicating that your Kohl's order is ready. You click a link in the message and follow the steps where you say that you're at the store. You then get a pickup spot number to fetch your order. Mine was 265. It clearly had my name labelled on the paper bag with handles. I was happy. I didn't buy anything on top of my pickup order. I did enjoy browsing around to check out fashion trends. I am more of a classic person when it comes to clothing. However, I saw shorter jackets with large pockets being trendy. I probably have a couple of jackets at home that I can pull out and look equally as trendy for a brief moment... haha! I make it a habit to check out purses. I liked everything from floral prints, to heart-shaped purses. The bedroom decor section was a lot of fun. I liked seeing clouds and rainbows as neat pieces. There was a rainbow abacus that was cool, but was sort of broken. I fixed it by placing the metal arc back into a socket in the wooden base. If it weren't that messed up, I would have bought it because it was cool and geeky. It was wonderful returning to this store. I am pleased that it's still standing. It was great shopping here again. “I had to exchange a top for the third time and I got the same employee Cindy each time. She was so nice and helpful. She is quick and very friendly! She works at the customer service desk at the Lancaster Kohls. I really like her and she will help you with any question you may have about the store or merchandise. She makes shopping there a pleasure! Thank you Cindy!!!”
“Reminds me of Sears. Jan 20/25- this place is nice, hope it’ll stay open! While touring around, I came into here alone and it brought back so many memories of sears! I guess I came in to feel sears again but sears has more higher end stuff. I came in to buy some shoes but they didn’t have the Nike’s I wanted.”

“Just like most other (non super) Targets I’ve been to. Friendly cashier on one trip and self checkout the next trip. Had stock of everything I was looking for. Surprised me, I didn’t realize that Target was carrying Popsocket MagSafe! I needed to replace one that was falling apart”
“The cashier, Donna, who helped me on March 15, 2025 went the extra mile. I hadn't activated my new Kohl's card so she used my old card anyway. She personally wrote the number down for me so that I could activate my new card. She was gracious and kind, and didn't make me feel like a bother, even though I know I was!”

“Located inside the Galleria Mall. This department store is well known and carries lots of brand name clothing mostly at retail price. They do decorate the store very nice for Christmas.”
“The treatment by Dana Christie was over the top, I bought troy built lawn tractor/mower fantastic unit. Dana loving cutting q acre property now, excellent cuts, great deal. Thanks for your help getting it to my house for no charge. Same day I bought it.

“Wow! You don't even feel like you're in Fort Erie. Very big and excellent for last minute gift options in our small town. Prices are very reasonable and the changing area is huge and extremely well lit. There's sections for home items, clothes, shoes, toys, self care and more. A good in between of Walmart and Marks for pricing and quality.”

“One of the better TJ. Maxx's I have been to. Everything was very neat and organized. I still though can never find jeans that I actually like. I'm not into skinny straight legged jeans, and TJ Maxx has nothing but those for sale. Another thing I noticed about TJ Maxx, they take forever to cash you out.”
“Went in 7/22/2024, 5:30 pm to find a particular item, found it and some other things. The only thing I found very disturbing was how loud some store employees were talking on the floor. The cashier was very friendly.”
“This place is nicer than the Canadian ones! May 7/15- skipping school to come here for the day is always worth it! Grade 6 best memory was definitely coming across the border and living! My family with my uncle came and I got chocolate!

“The trick here is to find items where they only have a few. If they have a huge variety of sizes, it was probably made for The Rack. If they only have a few, it's probably overstock from Nordstrom and much higher quality.”

“Zainab was the most respectful cashier. I told her how I was worried about the breakables I bought for gifts. She wrapped them and bagged them then wrapped them in the clothes I bought. I made it home to wrap them and they were still in one piece!!! Thank you also to Jess S who was so funny and helpful. They even pleased my hard-to-fit weiner dog Jazzy! I love this Marshall's. They keep a neat store even on Dec. 24. They somehow keep the place clean around the hardest days of the year. Thank you for a great time shopping.”

I get it. They're not rich and shoplifting is a thing. Why deal with the hassle of cops when you just follow people and look at them askew?
I think it's hilarious that some of these reviews refer to the shop owners not being not LGBT friendly. Get your head out of your and open your own shop; see what happens. People should honestly take a look at what goes on at Sam's Club just a few doors down. Loaded shopping carts getting pilfered almost on the daily. But I digress...

Doritos Dynamite was all gone except for one single piece so we got it(thankfully as it was a long drive for us!) Staff at the check out counter was a nice lady! I really loved her Solar Eclipse Tshirt!”

“I just started shopping at BIG LOTS a few months ago and signed up for the shoppers reward programs. I don't know why I never shopped at this store before because I absolutely love it! I bought some very unique halloween decor and the best Christmas inflatables. I am beyond disappointed that this store is going out of business, especially when I just discovered how much I love it!!”
