“The store is clean and organized. The staff was polite and had plenty of people working. You can't beat the prices and the cute stuff. They have a large selection of everything and the Christmas items are plentiful. The only thing I hate is the tight parking but love they still bag items for you at no charge. Love this store”
“I absolutely LOVE this place. Oftentimes I find myself in need of a swift kick out the door. I spend so much but gain enormously. If I spent what I do anywhere else, I'd be walking out with 1 outfit. Here, that turns into 4-5-6 outfits. Your money goes a long way here, AND with name brands as well. But definitely make sure to try on those questionable sizes, because if you're a 36 waist normally, ya may find yourself fitting into a 32 waist here. You have to search, because that gem of clothing may be hiding in a place it shouldn't be. Quality Work(skilled labor) clothes for sure. All at fractions of normal prices. I literally have to kick myself out of here. But I leave begrudgingly satisfied and Happy. You will wonder why you shop anywhere else after stepping inside this store.”
“I don't know what's happening with this store!!! All of a sudden, over the last month, the place is clean!! Like cleaner than I've ever seen it in all the years I've lived over here. It almost looks like someone who cares is actually running the place!! New workers? New manager? I don't know what it is, but keep it up!! It's awesome”

“This place is nicer than the Canadian ones! May 7/15- skipping school to come here for the day is always worth it! Grade 6 best memory was definitely coming across the border and living! My family with my uncle came and I got chocolate!

“Deliveries, huge parking lot, I turned in at Hibbet shoe store (off Elmwood), turned rt behind Bath and Body (just before Target) then a rt at the stop sign (now your facing dock doors, yes under where it says Queen City Liquors) the store manager there mid. Everybody else is pretty cool. Shane the man tho! Cool dude”

You can always find most things you may need. Stores are kept clean and aisles are kept clear of product”
“As a Canadian who’s never been here before it’s like an awesome discounted winners! Super cool stuff tons of shopping can be done here with hours and hours of shopping, the only recommendation I can make is for your staff to be more welcoming and friendly at checkouts eh!”
“I absolutely love, always have and always will love family dollar! Granted some are better than others, but overall rating the entire chain, I give it 8.5 out of 10 maybe even a 9 out of 10. They are wonderful and very decent price if you're on a budget. ?”

“It's a Family Dollar - you get what you expect. However the employees are always kind to me when I go in and the new remodel is very nice. I think having a security guard would benefit other shoppers and the employees. The employees aren't paid enough to deal with sometimes dangerous people coming in and stealing.”
“A+ for convenience, they have most the everyday stuff you need often, with a WAY simpler and easier experience than a supermarket.
B-for orderliness. They're a bit of a mess in there with the stocking schedule and the boxes/crates sitting around unstocked. But I rely heavily on Fam dollar for getting by so I give them a pass. The staff in there are mostly cool, one guy shares good recipe ideas with me. There was one girl that was so nasty and rude I walked out once. But I don't see her anymore so maybe that's done with.”
“I go here all the time because of the prices and they have a lot of things that I always need, and it's close to my house. This is the cleanest and neatest Family Dollar store I've ever been to, but it's still a difficult shopping experience. Forget trying to shop with a shopping cart because you can't make it down half of the aisles because they're clogged with so much stuff and they are so narrow. Also, many times they have only one cashier with an extremely long line at the checkout. But what do you want at these prices? To me it's worth going there just for the convenience and prices.”
“I like Target for the selection although the prices are on the high side. But the quality reflects it. The grocery section is something I have not previously used but I have picked up a few things there recently. I wouldn't make it my one stop for groceries due to higher prices but they do have a decent selection for getting a few items if I am there for other reasons.”

“You can get nicer shorts ? here to wear around. However, sometimes its hit or miss to find something you want. Sometimes they only have Nike and underarmor and nothing else good, and I don't want those! Sometimes you can get socks and sleeveless shirts that are excellent and not sold on many places. The quality is a little random but can be great sometimes, however a lot of that is based on preferences of myself. I would buy clothes, towels and socks here, but not shoes.”
