Creaky mattresses. Only 1 available outlet next to beds and USB ports only at desk across from beds. Torn fabric on box springs also cheapen the feel. Bathroom was fine.

I had a good time at this renovated hotel. However, the knocking from inside the fridge in my room kept me up all night, and the bed was hard as a rock. The small pillows were fine once I combined them. I enjoyed the gym and the breakfast. The breakfast was more enjoyable on Sunday morning than on Monday for some reason. Water pressure in the shower was laughable. All the staff I encountered were friendly. Some guys were laughing in the hallway at 2 am carrying boxes of beer, but I only knew that because I was awake from the knocking fridge. Lots of restaurants were nearby. I would stay here again.

This hotel has the absolute worst customer service regarding room blocks. We contacted the hotel more than 5 times to initiate this process. The sales department is unreachable and the front desk staff is not trained in assisting customers beyond basic needs. I'd say the sales manager has no interest in booking large groups and would rather roll the dice on individual bookings. The only reason we went with this hotel is location. I am not one to write negative reviews, but the verbal feedback seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. I would highly encourage other groups to send their friends and family elsewhere.

My mom and I stayed there recently, and it couldn't have been better. The front desk associate Zach was very helpful and accommodating in every way! Clean rooms, great location, and one of the best breakfast options I've seen in a long time. I definitely suggest staying here if you're ever in Troy.

Rooms were meh, service checking in was rude, parking lot makes you drive out onto a busy road to get to the other side of the hotel when checking in or out, pillows were really small, bed was hard, not one thing at the facility takes cash including vending machines. At the end of the day, it's a best western didn't have high expectations, which were too high..

Updated, great location, friendly staff. This was a road trip and the 4th different BW of this trip. Definitely the best and least experienced. Felt totally safe walking around town alone, great breakfast selection, fresh and friendlyRooms: Clean, comfortableSafety: Explored town alone in the AM. Quaint coffee shops and bakeries opening shops, noticed a DORA area for evenings. Walked a bit along the river. Walked across the street in PM for late night BBQWalkability: Totally enjoyed

Oh boy, this place has already left a bad taste in my mouth. Imagine you book a block of rooms for your wedding guests, hire a bus to take them to the venue at 2:15pm, (so they don't have to worry about driving back later that night). You arrive at the hotel to check in at 1pm and you are told, no problem, you can check in early for a $65 ADDED FEE. Now imagine that NO ONE at the hotel informed the block of wedding guests of this hidden fee. Now imagine just how f$&king pissed off all those guests are standing at the front desk trying to check in but are told that this is hotel policy and can do nothing about it. This is called TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SITUATION to recoup the discount you gave for reserving a block of rooms. What are these folks supposed to do. The hotel has them by the "you know whats" and they are FORCED to pay this HIDDEN FEE. Seriously, what are they going to do, get dressed in the lobby, use the lobby bathroom to wash up? Are the ladies going to put their makeup on using the little mirror in their cars? No mention of the "so called" policy on their website, not even posted on the property. We're told it is because they had to call in extra housekeeping staff to get the rooms ready. That's not unreasonable. But to surprise patrons with this fee AT CHECK-IN? I call unfair practice. Disgusting.

We stopped for one night after a long drive. The staff was very helpful an pleasant, the area was so beautiful. If you get the chance walk around. Yes the pillows were small but the room was clean an the bathroom as well. Breakfast that was provided was really really good.

I would have given this place four stars. We liked everything about it except for one thing: breakfast. We like our mornings and appreciate good food in attractive surroundings. Here is what we found:--The scrambled eggs were burnt which resulted in a texture of hard knots mixed with what was burnt. --The omelets were burnt. --The muffins were not split resulting in guests doing the best they could to saw them open with plastic knives while trying to keep their plates from spilling. --The sausage was swimming in its own grease, something which could be prevented by laying a grate in the bottom of the serving tray. --There was no white bread. That's it.

If you don't value good sleep and clean rooms this hotel may be for you. The bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable. The pillows are half size so you have to combine 2 or 3. The ac makes a ton of noise. The bathroom was basic and the body wash was empty. The only good thing was thr nice breakfast and clean lobby. The pictures of the rooms are highly misleading. The price was way too much for what you get.

This is a very good Best Western. The room was nice, the facility was nice, the woman at the desk, alone, was massively overworked but terrific--pleasant and well-informed. Our room was good. The only issue was all the products (soap, hair products) were strongly citrus-scented. Not at all appreciated.Just off the lobby is a coin-op laundry room, which was perfect timing for us. Super super helpful to have this. Breakfast -- Perhaps the average American traveler wants lots of stuff and unlimited quantity but a small selection of quality items would be preferable to us. The coffee was gruesome, the hot food was sweaty in covered dishes. Scrambled eggs had a massive amount of pepper on them; sausages were pale, sweaty, and very unappealing. There was very little for someone who could not have lactose; all those packaged breads and pastries may be loaded with milk product that could ruin one's day. I guess if you put yogurts out some people might just swipe all of them, but a "fresh" yogurt machine is a pretty frightening concept.
