Terrible service. Stay far away. We have tried to transition from Time Warner now for over 3 months and are still trouble shooting problems. If it's not one thing, then it is something else. The phone quality is terrible, the network loses printer addresses, etc. Awful.

We have used cornerstone telephone for 3 years now (the length of our contract) in that time we have had 3 Email outages of their remote hosted service. (the backup systems did not work) totaling 32 hours of downtime (not including Hurricane sandy downtime) and we have had 4 instances of phone service downtime totaling 12 days of downtime. The reliability of their repair department is suspect and they have alsmost no communication when you are expecting a repair. On top of that most of the downtimes also took out their ability to open a ticket so we could not even report problems. I would not use them again.

Multiple bad experiences with this company, and I've been warned by many people to avoid them. The most recent, and worst, was after we disconnected our business internet service from them. We made multiple appointments for them to pick up their equipment, and they never showed up for any of them. They keep sending us bills for the full MSR price of the equipment (which is 1/4 the cost on amazon), and are now threatening collections after they keep skipping appointments for equipment pickup. Customer service talks a great game, but it's almost as if they work for a different company, since the techs never show and billing continues to make mistakes. Customer service will apologize again and again, appearing to go out of their way to help, only to have the same exact issues repeat. Avoid at all costs. Even Time Warner has better customer service than this company.

Stay far far away from Cornerstone, particularly from Ed in customer service. When my father died, I called Cornerstone to cancel his business phone lines. Cornerstone shut off the phones, but continued to bill his estate for months. Then they shut down our home phone line due to the account not being paid. I called to resolve the issue, and Ed told me, verbatim and in a snarky tone, "I can absolutely shut off your home phones!" He then insisted that we personally pay my deceased father's business line debts before we got our home phone line back. He was incredibly rude, had no interest in discussing options with a family in crisis, and to top it off, he put me on hold for an extended period of time to have a personal conversation with a girl in his office. I know this because I heard him begin the conversation before putting me on hold. I later found out we were being double billed for our internet, once from Time Warner and again from Cornerstone. I immediately switched my phones to Verizon. I suggest you stay far away from Cornerstone. I've never had less pleasant customer service experience, and I feel robbed by this corrupt company.

It took 3 weeks and many long phone calls to Cornerstone to get a service call to repair a phone line, then when "fixed" , they actually crossed phone lines leaving us without a phone line, fax line or security system. They were non-responsive and incredibly patronizing when we were actually able to speak to someone and this is after being on hold for endless amount of time. The fact that our business was losing money, not protected because we had no working security system due to THEIR error, did not faze them. Could not get a return phone call from them, it took them over a week to finally repair their screw-ups. If you have no phone line problems and never need to contact this company for anything as we had for years, you should be ok. But, heaven help you if you do have a problem and need it resolved, they are NOT in the business of customer satisfaction. This company is absolutley not woth the aggravation. We will be switching to Time Warner Business Class.

Horrible company. We are a business based in Albany and have been a client for years and years. their service was always shoddy but i was never motivated enough to switch so we kept them. We have always paid them on time except in the past couple of months due to the economy. We were behind two months so they cut us off. No regard for the fact the my company is a long time client or that without being able to accept credit cards we wont actually be able to pay them. The worst part was that they did not even give us notice at all. They just terminated the service. Brilliant service guys.. the best part was that the collections officer (Chrissy) would not even get on the phone to talk to me. Well, you lost my business.
