Terrible service! Called to get my prescription straightened out and they wouldn't fix it. Instead they processed to tell me my doctor isn't smart enough to write the prescription right. So they did me a favor and altered my prescription in their own way. When I called them out on it they hung up on me and deleted my account! Stay away!!!!!!

They are horrible. They refuse to give me my brand I need even though they have covered it before. I will get sick on the generic brand. It's been documented. I need this medication to live. I will never use them again and will report them to my company who is an insurance company and uses them.

Shocking experience this morning. I called to get updated information on delivery of medication and was told it would be shipped in 8 days. It was ordered by my physician a week ago. I requested an earlier ship date and was informed it was too late to change the ship date and I should go to a pharmacy and get an interim amount of medication. Why am I using Express ?

This company is a joke. I have had to rely on mail order for medications for my comorbidities for years and I have tried all the major ones. I was using pillpack successfully for years and it had its fair share of reliability issues, but nothing close to Express Scripts. With an insurance change last year to Cigna came new rules and Pillpack couldn't fulfill the 90 day supply requirement by the insurance and neither could my local Walgreens because they "weren't allowed to" by Cigna contract, so I switched to Express Scripts which is Cigna's own mail order script house. They never fill the prescriptions when you put in a request and then the "customer service" people will lie to you over and over again to get you off the phone. It takes weeks for new prescriptions from your doctor to be "approved" by their in house supposed pharmacists and then it takes additional weeks to pack your stuff and ship it forcing you to go get emergency fills for your medications over and over again. They never tell you the truth to your face that they don't care and just want you off the phone. I called 2 weeks ago and I was told my pcp needed to write a new script, but when I spoke with the Dr office they had sent it 2 weeks prior. I have had customer service tell me contradictory things that their app didn't show. Just yesterday they said I had no refills left for one of my meds and they needed to wait for the pcp to rewrite the script when their own app said it l had one fill left and so did the bottle I had in the cabinet. I waited on the phone for 20 minutes and then I was told that my pcp had authorized a new script for something that I will run out of tomorrow and has been in "processing" with Express Scripts for 3 weeks. Today, my pcp knows nothing about this request by Express Scripts and neither does my local Walgreens who they said would be receiving the script today. It's an absolute circus over there and they don't care if they could potentially kill me in the process. It's criminal what they're getting away with.Thankfully I could still get that one med filled locally they claim I didn't have available. I don't know what they're doing over there, but they need to be investigated by the FDA and other government entities and probably investigated for price fixing and railroading their customers too. I have never said this about any business, but if I could, I would give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars.

I'm seeing all of these bad reviews. I've been using Express Scripts for a couple of years now and I've never had any issues. Their Customer Service has always been good for me as well. Prescriptions come on time and I was even notified that my prescription was discontinued with no delay. I still have plenty of meds which means I have time to find a med replacement. Also, home delivery is seriously amazing, especially when you live in the country! Thank you, Express Scripts!I did also want to mention that if you are in desperate need for a medicine, you can have your prescription transferred to a physical pharmacy. You don't have to use the delivery option if I'm not mistaken. Just trying to help those complaining.

After being sent to Express Scripts by Cigna (won't do that again), I've been dealing with them for years. a)if there's a problem with your prescription, they don't let you know. You sit around, wondering where the heck your meds are before deciding to call & the heavily accented person (no idea where their call center is) attempts to tell you why you haven't received. Does you no good when you're out & must now get transferred to CVS or wherever; b) I had repeatedly tried to cancel a med I took myself off but due to an overlap with doctor's orders, the meds were shipped to me anyway. When I called them about this, they denied I ever cancelled & blah blah blah but I could return for credit when received. Fast forward to me doing EXACTLY as I was advised to them denying my claim for a credit on an unopened package of medication (that I'd previously cancelled) because it isn't their policy to return medications (not what I was told) & since my medication was already destroyed, they couldn't be sent back to me. I would've given my very mild medication to somebody who could've used it before returning if I didn't think I'd be credited. Now, I'm out $90 with nothing to show for it. My complaint was elevated & I've told them to cancel everything. I will drive to Costco monthly if I have to, better than they acid in my stomach dealing with these incompetent liars. Can you imagine how much money they make every day? I trusted them when they told me what to do (& despite not cancelling the med as I'd requested multiple times) this is my fault/problem. I used to work in customer service where the customer was ALWAYS right. Wrote of thousands of $$ a day. This is what I get.

If you need a prescription filled right away, DO NOT use this company!! I had a prescription called in for an antibiotic for a UTI! Over a week later, it hasn't even been shipped yet!! They also give you the 5th degree when it comes to side effects!! I have never seen such a horrible health care company!!

Terrible. Order from them if you don't need your medications. Three calls being told order was corrected and all set, followed by 3 e-mails negating that message. 3 strikes and you're out. Save yourself the frustration and pay attention to every rating being one star. Don't get sucked in by supposed "savings". Next.

Worst mail order drug store to deal with. Wish I could give a negative number. Have complained about the same problem several times, but they do not seem to care. They always e-mail back to contact them, but they cannot contact you. The customer service people do not seem to understand what is being said, or cannot understand them because they cannot be understood.
