Market Block Books is a warm, cozy, and wonderful locally owned bookstore with a great atmosphere. It occupies a great space in an ideal and easily accessible location. The selection is not enormous but includes plenty of titles, both new and classics, with lots of unique, eclectic books. There is a special focus on local Capital Region and Troy selections. Prices are reasonable. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and kind, offering great assistance and suggestions. It is a true gem worthy of support.

This bookstore has a great atmosphere, and though their selection is not enormous, they have lots of unique books. They have really made great use of the space. I especially love the local Capital Region and Troy selections as well as their eclectic selection of cookbooks.
