“The Prophet said, "The best of men are the men of Yemen". This may explain why the owner is the most humble, kind, and generous of All the Muslim in the Albany Area. The owner conducting himself like all Muslims are supposed too. He is always so generous to my family and we don't really know him. His staff are oustanding and helpful. For example, 11-30-23 his staff on duty at 10am helped me decide on same item of two different type. He introduced me to Algerian breakfast. Was supposed to last all week, didn' last two days and eaten with honey. I purchased many items from store this week. Especially steak for everyday of the week. Preparing a beautiful steak right now for Friday.”

“Huge selection. Like another reviewer said, the bulk bins are spectacular. They are a throwback to old markets where you would buy your beans and grains and other dry goods out of big containers. Something I used to see occasionally as a child. I bought navy beans here, which I actually had a hard time finding in my local supermarkets. They have a bunch of nifty sections if you want to make your own... Well pretty much anything. There's yeast and kombucha and all kinds of raw and fermented stuff. Huge selection in a small store Now the bad part: if you were looking to spend $200 on groceries that you can carry out in one hand, this is certainly your place, you will have no problem doing that, and a huge selection to choose from. It seems like most of the food quality is a cut above, especially for cheeses and specialty items. However, I can't imagine people shopping here for their daily needs We had a lovely cashier named Val, I am sure we could be good friends! She asked me if we were members of the co-op, and when I asked her what was involved with that, it was a $100 yearly fee and a three hour orientation to become a member. I really admire the people who are committed to such things, but it's just a bit much for me. Happy to go there sometimes to get some specialty items though. One more thing: quite nice and interesting plant selection. Surprising in a little market, but they had all sorts of little cactus and succulents and other plans, really nice little stuff.”

“I can not say enough good things about the people at Reliable Bros. and the quality of their meat products. We had a neighbor that has been buying a few items like shrimp and sausage long before the pandemic hit. When it became difficult or unwise to shop for meat in the grocery store during the pandemic we ordered several times from Reliable Bros. At the time we thought it was a stop gap measure until things settled down. The first time that we ordered changed our minds completely. The experience was amazing, they took our order over the phone, they described any item that we asked about, they offered suggestions and options when some meats were only sold in large volume. Then we tried the meat. Everything was amazing. The next time that we ordered we placed an order for almost $1,000 for ourselves and a few family and friends. Again the process was amazing, everything was packaged and ready when they said it would be. They cut whole pieces to order exactly has discussed. There wasn't a single thing that we ordered that wasn't of superior quality, yet very reasonably priced. The prime strip steaks were perfect and this was after we had frozen them which we never have done pre pandemic. The corned beef...nothing short of amazing. Easily the best corned beef we have ever had and we eat quite a bit of corned beef. The chicken was great, the pork chops and pork tenderloin were far better than any I have purchased at Price Chopper. The most important thing is the quality of what we eat and this more than checked that box. If you want prime meat cut or packaged exactly as you want at a price far less expensive than the grocery store and sold by nice, knowledgeable people give them a call. You won't be disappointed!”

“I love this place, I went to get some dried fish and they had it, but I ended up buying more than what I went to get lol. Due to the customer service, and on another occasion, they were not open and I eventually saw the owner and I signal to him I need to get an outfit, and he sent his wife to come and attend to me. I couldn't believe it lol .if most businesses will not care how hard I knocked the door, they will shout we are closed lol. But they didn't. Alhamduliah for such service!”

“Asian/Indian store have increased around the area with population growth of the minority population. This was one of the first asian/Indian stores opened in the Saratoga County by the Sihal family who owned another grocery store and a restaurant location in Albany county. The management has recently changed. You do get to buy stuff that you wouldn't find at Walmart or a local grocery store that are used in a South Asian household. My family goes there every Thursday as they get fresh vegetables and meat. The vegetables are purchased in NYC and brought here. You get the green chilis that are spicier than the one in your local store....I addition you get to buy tropical fruits jack fruits, green pumpkin, lychee and guava. I go there for my Mukwas (mouth freshener...soamp), Thums up (Indian soda) and mango kulfi.”

“Classic Italian staples and prepared foods which are consistently excellent. The chicken meatballs are a must try. There are a lot of great cheeses, meats, salads, and a solid 4-5 star on sandwiches and entrees. My personal favorites are the pasta fagioli which i think is served daily and their FRIED EGGPLANT! Thinly sliced. Perfect!”

“I love these sausages. I've tried several flavors and especially like the small apple and sage breakfast sausages. I am thankful for Balinski's not using casing on its sausage. I have a severe allergy to mammal meats after being bitten by a tick and now have alph-gal. I cannot eat other sausages because most casings are made from pork or sheep. Being able to eat sausage again is a blessing, and the fact that it taste good is even better. The breakfast sausages have enough in a package that I don't feel cheated by them costing $8 at Whole Foods. It comes out to less than one dollar per link. They are a nice addition to breakfast.”
