Troy Public Library is one of the gems of Troy, centrally located and architecturally gorgeous. The children’s section is amazing, beautiful, and well-stocked with comfy places to sit. The main library is also an excellent and great resource. The staff is so friendly, helpful, kind, attentive, intelligent, and abundantly helpful, going out of their way to engage with people. The events and activities are above expectation, creating an overall atmosphere of acceptance and love of reading. This library provides a wonderful and whole experience, setting it apart from others in the Capital Region.
The librarian in the children section was awesome. I wish they had a bigger space for children and more programs on the weekends. There was a young lady at the main desk with I think green or blue short curly hair and she was VERY rude to us hence the three stars. The gentleman with the beard at main desk was nice though.
