Great farmers market on a lovely fall morning. Street and lot parking around. Plenty of food vendors and farmers. Great fresh flowers, amazing food and tons of coffee. Lovely crowd, families, dogs around. We got there around 9:30am. Light crowd by 11am there were many more lines for food vendors. Would highly recommend. Loved it!

WOW. This was the farmers market of our foodie dreams! Our friends took us here and were incredible hosts! We tried some of their favorite vendors from empanadas, to waffles, to Italian food. We tried a little bit of everything while we walked and shopped. Definitely gets busy and tough to find seating. We parked in a public parking garage a few blocks away that's free on weekends. Our favorite vendor had to be Lidia's Empanadas they were absolutely phenomenal and Lidia is a gem!!!

I love the Farmers Market - there's my favorite food truck run by Tito and his sons - he makes a mean breakfast sandwich -it's tough to find fat cap milk in the stores along with Duck eggs (which I swear by in my baking) I can always get both at the Farmers market- give it a try. Shop local- support a farmer - .. it makes for a great day just to walk around and enjoy the sights - just be warned - there are a lot of dogs - (they are on leashes - )I recommend this place

We arrived around 1030 and the market was hopping! Lots of people, dogs, veggies, fruit, bread, cheese, spirits, soaps, jewelry, milk, eggs, dig treats, flowers, and musicians! We enjoyed some ethnic food from a vendor and it was very good. I'd advise that you bring your own bags and water. Everyone was friendly and patient. This is a gem of Troy! We highly recommend that you visit during the summer! Budda Pesto is a favorite of ours.

Saturday Farmers Market [Troy NY]During our breakfast at Naughter's (diner located at 1809 Fifth Ave, near the corner of Fifth Avenue and Broadway) the server said we should check out this Farmers Market in downtown Troy. It starts at the Monument Square and flows over into surrounding streets. The open air market spans, I dunno, 4 or 5 blocks? It is huge and it was fun walking around and seeing all the vendors (especially the food vendors). Had we known about this farmers market sooner we could've just had breakfast here. So exciting to see so many food vendors... empanadas, Stromboli, tamales, tacos, breakfast burritos, Italian, Chinese, West African cuisines... Belgian waffles, sweet & savory crêpes, sourdough bread, smoothies, lemonade. The market runs from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday and road closures at South Cherry Street between West Main and Franklin Streets for the market. It was a fun experience and I purchased homemade cookies from Bard & Baker.Review #3012

Nice place to get groceries and hot meals in the morning/afternoon. It's fun to walk around and check out the stalls even without a to-do list. Go almost every week with friends to shop and just hangout.

Went first thing in the morning - fewer people than the outdoors market. Great stalls and compassionate people. Food always smells amazing! Stop just for a bite if you find yourself in Troy. :)
