I had a nail in the tire and Steven got me in right away (usually takes an average of an hour because they are so busy— as they should be, it’s a great place).
The staff is super friendly and I am grateful for Rob taking care of the tire so quickly!

Not only did these guys align it the best they could they also found the issue that was causing my alignment issues when no one else could.
If you have a high end sports car or an exotic car I highly recommend this shop.”
“Come to this shop for all your rim, tire, wheel, etc. needs. Kevin responds super quick and is the most friendly car mechanic I've ever met, honest with his work and great prices. Never pushes you to do extra work on your car that isn't needed. I drove an hour out of my way to go to him and I'm glad I did.”
“Thank you Mavis. They really helped me out of a jam today. I was driving with my wife and 1 year toddler today when my back tire blew out. Luckily It was while we were close by and not on the freeway. They did not have my particular tire in stock but were able to order it. They were getting pushback to have it delivered tomorrow, but they really fought for it to be delivered today. Sometimes in Customer Service it's that little extra effort employees put in to make us customer feel that we are valued and it's not just transactional. Knowing that there was that human element involved-they knew I had a toddler with me and that I needed to get home today with a new tire on-they went above and beyond to make it happen. “I went last Friday, 11/1, because I had a flat tire. My tire blew out and they changed it for me as well as two other tires that needed to be changed quickly and explained the breakdown of the cost before any work was completed. I wasn’t pressured into doing more like some mechanics try to do and they were really nice and informative. 5 stars! I will definitely be back!!”
“Found myself with an unexpected flat tire after a class and was conveniently parked in the lot next to this Mavis. I walked over half an hour before closing and they were more than willing to help me solve the problem so I could get home. The gentleman found the source of the leak and fixed it in a very timely manner and never made me feel bad that it was the end of the day. They couldn't have been nicer and I highly recommend going to this center! Will be back for future needs.”

“Initially I came here to replace two tires on my SUV. I met Tracy, the young woman at the front desk who was most pleasant and very resourceful on teaching me about the type of tire I should purchase. I really appreciated her kindness. When the time came for my car to be serviced, I met Imria. He informed me that I needed to change all the tires on my car since it was all-wheel drive. Though I was reluctant, and it was my first time ever getting this done, he took the time to explain why it was important for me to make this change and why it was also a safer option. I really appreciated his education and information. Overall I had a great experience. I think I have found my new home to purchase tires here in the big nyc. Thanks to the entire team, the wait is long. However you will be guaranteed. Great service. Certainly going to return.”

“Tom and Hillside Service workers are good folk for the community. When calling in for service for your vehicle just address your issue quickly cause they are busy daily.
A helpful is to call ahead to come to the shop to diagnose your issue then set up a time to bring your car in for him to look at. Tom was quick to diagnose the problem I had for years that the dealership wouldn’t figure out. Took him one full day to fix my main issue, but he discovered another issue related to the first & wouldn’t let me come pick my car up until the whole issue was resolved. Overall, Tom and others want to make sure you are taken care of, fairly price and I will go back if anymore issues.”

“While grabbing my son from camp I noticed a chunk of my tire missing. It was a bit after 4 and I remember passing Mavis regularly on my way into work. I drove over a bit after 4:00 without an appointment and figured worst case I would need to go back the next day. One look at my tire and it was deemed unsafe (figured that) and I was told they would replace it. I felt terrible for these guys it was HOT and they weren't able to get to my car till around 6:00 (closing time). My only issue was I was told the new tire had to be moved to the back and was given an explanation making it sound like a safety issue. When I returned home I noticed the new tire was in the front replacing the damaged tire. I called my mechanic in the morning and he said it's fine since the car is an AWD. I am greatful they took my car as I watched them tell others they had to schedule an appointment. I was also greatful when the gentleman at the counter heard my son complain about reception and help him out with wifi. I would 100% go back.”

“Ended up with a screw in my tire on my way to work. Found closest Mavis and James helped me out. Was hoping for a patch or a plug just to get me through to replacing all my tires next month. Unfortunately with the location of the screw they were unable to fix and replacement of the tire is unnecessary. Unfortunately due to time and financial restrictions I have to hold off. James had his guy put the spare on and didn’t want any money exchanged for the change nor the assessment of the current tire. Great location and great staff. Thanks James.”
