“The CUTEST! We booked this place last minute, sight-unseen, along our road trip. We chose the 2 double bed room. When we arrived I was so pleasantly surprised! Right on the lake with a beautiful floating dock right next to a giant park. The room and bathroom was spotless, very clean and beds are super comfy. The place is adorable! Check in and out are super easy and the staff makes themselves available via cell for any needs that may come up.

Rooms: Quaint and clean!”

“We recently cycled the Adirondack Rail Trail from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake. Wanting to stay overnight and return to Lake Placid the following day, we made a one night reservation at the Faust Motel. Communication by hotel manager via email was excellent and provided all the information you needed prior to arriving. The motel is a short easy ride from the trail terminus. Our room was fairly priced and very clean. Everyone we interfaced with was friendly and helpful with the few questions we had. They have an additional building that serves as a lounge area on one end and is a fully functioning kitchen on the other. Coffee, fresh squeezed juice, yogurt and pastries were available in the morning. We found out that from July to mid-October they offer a take-out dinner Monday-Friday, but did not pay close enough attention the day we arrived, so we missed it. The motel is just a couple of doors down from the Raquette River Brewing Company, which has very good craft beer and several food trucks to grab something to eat. We plan on making this bike trip many more times and will not hesitate to book a room at the Faust Motel if they have availability.”

“Our stay was very enjoyable! We were in cabin 3, and it was super cute and very cozy. We stayed on Labor Day for one night, and I think we might have been the only occupants there! It was super quiet, other than the traffic driving by. I LOVED the snack basket idea. Very cute and unique. The faux fireplace heater was very nice and created a cozy atmosphere. The shower was a little tough because I couldn't adjust the head, so I had to stand on my tippy toes and kind of lean against the wall to have the water on my head. Definitely great for a taller person. Not a deal breaker at all. The bed was very comfortable. As a whole it was decently clean. I did notice some grass clippings and dirt around the perimeter of some of the floor, mostly in the bathroom. That was it though. It is a cabin after all. It does show in the welcome binder that they follow CDC guidelines for cleaning between occupants, so that was comforting to see as well.
One minor suggestion I wanted to make is to have a very narrow table along the wall by the bathroom, just to have another surface area to set things down on. We managed just fine, though!
The owners were super kind when we met them. We were having car troubles and the owner gave us some recommendations. We ended up using Leroy's garage and they were fantastic. They made it so our car could get us home safely. Thank you so much for the referrals!
We would absolutely stay again! Thanks for the lovely experience!”

“This was our first time staying at the Park since our honeymoon in 1985. The room and bed were comfortable and the shower hot. It's centrally located to everything we were doing in Tupper Lake that weekend and was perfect for the two of us. And the owner is one of the nicest ladies you'll meet. She has a lot on her plate but took the time to sit and talk with us for a bit.Nearby activities: The Wild Center, Adirondack RailroadFood & drinks: The Swiss Kitchen, P2's pub”
