“We recently needed to renew my passport and get a new passport for my 2 year old daughter. We made an appointment and came in with the forms printed from online. Winifee was so great and helpful with us. Winifee took the care with us and was so patient , it truly felt like my own mom was helping me. Had we not gone and done this process in person there were a lot of items we filled out wrong on the forms and were grateful for the assistance. In addition to helping us get our paperwork completed correctly, Winifee then also took our passport photos. The whole process was wonderful and we have already received our new passports almost 2 weeks later. I truly don’t know what we would have done without Winifee.”

“Latest closing hours in Westchester -7pm weekdays and 4pm Saturday. Many post offices aren't even open on Saturday in the city! The employees are very nice, caring and consistent faces over the last few years. I really appreciate them and the calm, positive vibe.”

“All I've had were positive experiences at this Scarsdale post office. I don't agree at all with the other reviewers regarding the man with the mustache. He's always polite and friendly. Regarding passports, there are rules and you need to follow them. If you don't make an appointment, they can't service you. What's so difficult to understand?
Every worker in here are very nice and have taken care of me through many years.”
“Easily the best post office I’ve ever used. They have a parking lot (!!) and I’ve gotten to know both postmasters and most of the clerks over the past decade. The staff is professional and efficient and even though at busy times it backs up easily (credit a lot of privileged suburbanites who use the USPS all of once a year and equally unprepared college kids from the two local schools), I have always trusted this post office and the excellent service and support they’ve long given me and my business.”
“My first time going was to get a new passport. The Caribbean lady and the black man with the light colored eyes were really helpful and patient with me. The man even asked if I wanted to redo my picture and he was so excited and ready to do so. But I was tired and I was feeling okay with what we took. I could’ve slayed some more but that’s okay. The second time I came back a couple of weeks after because I was missing apart of the documents. Okay so I seen the Caribbean lady a second time and white man was there as well. They both were very friendly coworkers with each other. They both gave friendly service. The Caribbean lady was extremely patient with me and allowed me to redo my application. I haven’t updated my glasses prescription in a while so I made slight mistakes because of that. America and their healthcare system.
Hey if it’s your first time getting your passport make sure to do your picture with them.
They will mail your original birth certificate back to you with your passport.
For the regular delivery of the passport it’s about 165$ and to rush it will be another 60$.

I always wonder how come deliveries are quicker when shipped from this USPS or the one in Rye, than when shipped from other area sites? The difference is noticeable and why we travel a bit out of our way for our mailing needs.”

“Needed a lot of help mailing a big package. Philip was at window and greeted me and asked if I needed help. He was cheerful and really helped me get package ready and mailed it off. He asked me how fast I needed to arrive and explained different rates. It was a pleasure to deal with such a kind and helpful clerk. I hope when review time comes around management checks out his accolades. I’m sure he has many.”

“I don’t know why there are bad reviews but I’ve had the BEST experience every single time. My daughter is getting married and they’ve been very helpful with the invitations (domestic & international). They personally stamped each one since the wax seal makes it difficult to go through the machine.

“Looks like all of the 1-star reviews are regarding passports. Weekday afternoon the Asian gentleman George was perfectly delightful and pleasant with handling my prepaid mail. So all is well with normal postal business. I suppose go elsewhere for passport making.”
