“PLEASE GO TO BOTTOM FOR UPDATE. Received a fake $100 bill on 5/17/24.Bill was in a large withdrawal that I used to pay off a loan at Access Federal Credit Union 1/2 hour later in Clinton. Customers beware. (I suggest cashier's checks but kind of stinks that my own financial institution passed a fake bill to me, I expect my bills to be legitimate when I go to a bank). Been a CBNA customer for 13 years, have to say Im pretty disgusted that my own bank didnt look out for me. And yes the Access withdrew $100 from my account so I'm now out the $100 because I have to write a check to make sure my account doesn't get overdrawn at Access.
UPDATE: The branch manager Julie contacted me and we had a very positive conversation about the situation that unfolded. She took the information, investigated and talked with her bosses. We reached a positive solution that was fair and just. Julie was first class, and genuinely cares about her customers. That is why I have changed to a 5 star review and want her to be acknowledged for her stellar customer service skills.”
“great bank. great employees. i just wish they would plant a bunch of salt resistant trees around the parking lot for shade in summer and for aesthetics because there are so many wonderful trees in downtown clinton but the AFCU-Kinney Drugs & back of Key Bank section is quite barren of trees.”
