Venues And Event Spaces
“My wife and I attended the Dwight Yoakam show on 9/12/25. First time at this venue, so we didn't know the 'lay of the land'. We purchased tickets up high in the back of the event center as we discovered the concert late. Now we have done this several times at other venues, and they have had elevators to take you to the upper bowls. We discovered after we arrived that this venue does not. You must walk the stairs from the main level all the way up. My wife has limited mobility, and that slow walk up put her in considerable pain. That is on me (husband) for not checking.
However, what you read about the seats are true ... they are small, cramped and hard. If you happen to have a larger person behind you, you will feel their knees in your back.
The acoustics were bad. We could not understand anything Dwight was speaking. We could hear him speaking, but the sound was so muffled that we would not make out anything. I am not sure what the issue was, but I have read many comments here praising the sound at this facility, so maybe something was off the night we attended.
Back to my wife ... the cramped seating made her pain even worse, and halfway through the show I knew we had to leave. But the stairs are so steep and it was so dark I was afraid for my wife's safety. After asking God for help we started making our way down.
I went into this detail to give you a sense of my appreciation as we were surrounded by ushers who escorted us down, using their flashlight to illuminate our walk and point out steps. Then suddenly a very strong mystery man came out of the stands and took hold of my wife's other arm as we all escorted her down to the main floor. Wow. Thank you all very much! And thank you again, God!
I took away 1 star in my review because of the acoustics. I am giving 4 stars because of how wonderful the employees at Turning Stone treated us. At each station ... starting at the valet .. to the people giving directions ... to the food court ... to the man in the walkway holding the 'this way' sign ... to the elevator operator who got us to the main floor ... to the 2 ladies working concessions ... and finally to the ushers ... everyone was so nice and helpful.
Thank you all very much!”
“Stay here! It's actually walking distance to Turning Stone Casino but they do have a shuttle that will take you there for free and pick you up. They have a dispensary, Dunkin' donuts, and a bar restaurant within walking distance. Lobby was very nice.”
“Super clean rooms and hotel in general, friendly helpful and engaging staff. Location is perfect and adjacent to casino. Highly recommended and would stay here again when in the area.”
