I was smelling a tree hut body scrub and a workwe came up to me took it out of my hand and proceeded to tell me she has to throw it out and gave me a science lesson on air bubbles. She also smelt like marjiuana. :(

Was shopping here today, had an interaction with an extremely nice and knowledgable girl on the floor who helped me choose a mascara, and checked on me several times to be sure I was doing ok. When I went to check out I had a very negative interaction with the girl at checkout who was very passive aggressive and condescending. I shop at Ulta all the time but will think twice before coming here again due to this experience. Really such a shame since it started off as a great experience.

In the last 2 months I have gone to this location, the staff, at least 1 was a manager, were extremely rude, vulgar and unprofessional. Top it off, one smelled awful, and no not like perfume or smoke, it was bad. It is the way they speak to customers that really is the issue. This is why I will just continue to order online. Get a handle on your staff.

I came to the Victor store to return an item I purchased two days before. The manager, Rachel, refused to accept my return WITH receipt because I did not want to sign up for the loyalty program. I confirmed with the website and there back of my receipt that was not required.Rachel was extremely rude to me and then I contacted customer support. They confirmed that you did not need a loyalty card with receipt and to visit a different location.I don't have another location close to me.Rachel is clearly violating store policy and should be reprimanded

Went into Ulta to get my eyebrows laminated and shaped. It was my first time and super excited. Zaiarda made me feel welcome at my appointment. She asked me how I would like my brows shaped and was very attentive to what I wanted. She walked me through each step of the process and was extremelydetail oriented. Thank you Zaiarda for making my 1st laminating experience a good one. Continue to be passionate about what you do and keep up the good job!

I never leave reviews but I just have to say Shae needs a raise. I asked a different employee about grabbing something from the back, to no avail. When I asked Shae instead, I got an enthusiastic “girllll I love that product” and watched like a literal sprint to the back. I’ll once again emphasize that I never leave reviews, I just had to say something on here after my experience in hopes that a manager sees it because he’s one of the sweetest retail employees I’ve ever met, and definitely just made me loyal to that Ulta ;)

So I always get my girlfriends presents at this location and as of my last visit, I was completely disgusted. There’s been a new employed manager at the Victor location who could be heard yelling through the entire store… I believe her name is was shea. So obnoxious, I think she was drunk, talking out loud about another employees private body parts. I just can’t even express how uncomfortable this made me let alone other costumers that over heard. I cannot even believe that these are the type of people such a well respected company would even consider putting in a management position. Do better for your company please for the respect of your costumers and other staff members. I will never be returning do to this foul and disturbing individual. I feel incredibly sorry that for the rest for the staff for having to answer to someone like that.

The staff needs training. I’ve had much better service at many of the other locations, especially when you buy high priced perricome lotions. Also almost no help with fragrance. Zero.

Do not get your hair done at this location. Go to Henrietta or webster instead. In the course of a year, 2 different stylist have ruined my hair. The 1st one was doing purple highlights and didn't mix enough dye, not once but twice and ended up mixing 3 different shades of purple and my hair looked very odd. Then I decided to try a different stylist almost a year later for a simple haircut, not only did they not have time to wash my hair, my hair was supposed to be cut shoulder length and is now chin length. They didn't even offer/ask to add layers or how I like my bangs trimmed, which was probably for the best because they struggled to cut my hair evenly and needed a second set of eyes.

Love their selection and store set up but Cashier Juliann with short hair was very passive aggressive for absolutely no reason at all. Definitely would find a different position for her not interacting with customers.

I usually love Ulta, but our experience (me and my roommate) was not that great. The store was very understaffed, with one person at the register, one person doing hair, and one person doing makeup. There was no one on the floor to help us with our questions for over a half hour. We wandered the store, picking up our products, until my roommate got some assistance. The team member who assisted us with finding the correct foundation and blush stick was very nice, helpful and patient. We both learned what we need for our types of faces (a tinted moisturizer versus full foundation and powder, a good color blush stick). We both browsed and filled our baskets with products from multiple sections. We went to the register (we paid together), and our total was around $350. I asked if there were any free samples, and was told no. It isn't often they don't have free samples. We were then informed that we would not be receiving a free gift (there's always a free gift when you spend that much), and when we asked how the company could rectify this issue, the team member basically shrugged her shoulders and told us we were SOL. We have been shopping at Ulta for years, are rewards members, and always recommend them to people looking for quality products, but after this experience, I think I will be sticking to shopping for these products online, elsewhere. Really disappointed.
