“This location is managed the right way. The upkeep of the store is in obvious good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. Last but not least, I had the opportunity to engage with the Manager Jay. Hi is extremely customer service centric and delivered a customer experience that was delightful. The experience also ensured I will not visit any other Dollar General locations when I need goods from there. “Habitat for Humanity in Newburgh is one of my favorite places to shop especially for being a home owner. The customer service is always amazing, everyone is friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about the people who come in. They always have great deals and truly affordable pricing, and I never feel like they’re trying to take advantage of anyone. There’s always something new to find, and I love the way they decorate and set everything up. The store is clean, organized, and easy to browse. Parking is simple and right off the exit, which makes getting in and out super convenient. The only downside is the ongoing construction off the exit, but it doesn’t take away from how great this place is. Highly recommend! Tell a homeowner about it”

“I love this dollar general and it's employees. I was in last week and have to say I really appreciate the store managers attitude while training new employees. A young lady working the register I believe her name Lexis, maybe Alexis who explained she was training and it was only her 2nd day on the register had to deal with an awful, awful customer who was accusing her of trying to scam him. He wanted items removed from his order and she let him know she was calling the manager so the manager could authorize the removal of the items, she told him the wrong total which was obviously a mistake (with that man's attitude I'd have given the wrong total also) and he went on a tangent that she was scamming him and everyone in line. The store manager came up and explained the situation to the customer and explained to Lexis where she made the mistake. The store manager was very kind in showing and explaining her mistake. She didn't embarrass her or make her seem like a bother. The customer finally left, thank goodness!! What a miserable person that man was. Lexis handled the situation very well for a new employee being yelled at over an honest mistake, she was visibly upset and excused herself to the restroom, she came back with an apology and a smile.. She is doing a great job!! Working retail with the general public is NOT an easy job but these 2 ladies handled it perfect!! Kudos to lexis and the manager, I 'm sorry I can't remember her name.”
“I love this new little place in Newburgh. I have gone in there to get little odds and ends that I needed for cooking. They are just the place you can run yo yo get that little thing you may have forgotten on your run to another market; that spice you may need for that roast, heck even a knife to cut the roast.”
“I love this store for its affordability but I was not so happy when I road my bike 10miles to find out cat food is not $1.50 The dollar tree store is not $1 no .ore they have prices increased all the way up to $20 or more. This should not be labled Dollar Tree for the buisness anymore if its just going to be the same as Family Dollar, Dollar General, 5 bellow false advertising too. 5 bellow is not only $5 or less.”

“I shop at the store multiple times a week. Again, they have soup To nuts. Extremely happy with the prices for what they have to offer, which is basically everything. Bathroom and kitchen rugs, throw rugs. Food, etc. I am so happy they built one less than a mile from my home. I am there all the time.”

“This is one of the larger stores the only thing that it's lacking the frozen food section it's not the largest but it is one of the larger ones they don't always have everything in stock that it did the week before but that's normal for a Dollar tree one of the great things in the store is the employees know exactly where everything is”
