“This is a great little store and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I don't normally post reviews, but wanted to post one here because I saw someone else posted a negative review (it looks like they apparently ignored the signs posted that there are no photos in the store.) I once asked the owners about the signs, and was advised that people come in to check out a product, take photos, and then go home to search for it online, which is very rude. For me, I stop in the store every time I am in town. They always have a lot of unique things and quite a variety as well. I can always find the perfect give for someone, and I can of course always find "gifts" for myself. The owners are so nice and I can't imagine anyone saying they are rude. They even did a special order for me for items that were not in stock at the time. Now that is the customized service you get in a small family owned business.”

“My fiancé and I were on a leisurely stroll through Millbrook and stubbled across this phenomenal shop!!! They were so sweet and allowed us to freely walk around, even though they were about to close. They didn’t rush us in the slightest. I’m literally in awe of this shop and I cannot wait to come back and purchase more!!”

“they stand apart as a unique and genuine country store despite all the growing sameness of generic corporate convenience stores in the surrounding area. In the summer I see AT through-hikers sitting at the picnic tables outside as they get more supplies for the trail. Locals stop in for their daily coffe, snack and newspaper. Weekenders rely on this first stop in the state to grab goodies to start their vacation. I stop in whenever I'm in the area to grab a few things, but mostly to chat with the friendly owners, who have been there for a couple of decades (love the local knowledge).”

“The Stewart's Shops I went to on Route 10 outside of South kortright was a larger store with more items that I'd ever seen before. They had an extended section of already made sandwiches and items to go that were hot. Lots more pizza choices than other Stewart's. They had a fresh sub sandwich station. Where the employees can make you Subs fresh for you right there. I've never seen that before. They also had a lot more Hot Products in the tubs like macaroni and cheese and soups and chili Etc. The store employee was very helpful who went and got me ice cream that wasn't out in the front. I would definitely come back to the store”

She spent a half an hour on the phone with insurance to help me not have to pay 100 bucks for my scripts. “Clean, well-lit storefront in prime location along Route 22. Bathroom and seating available. Very friendly cashier, and fair prices. My only issue is that the food is freshly prepared there, which infuses the store with strong odors from the kitchen (maybe the venting could be improved).”
