“Great prices, but non-airport locations don't have a great selection of cars, and there's ALWAYS a smell. That's just rentals, I guess, nothing against this location particularly. Counter staff was quick and friendly.”
“I needed a rental, and everyone on the team was right on into getting me into one! Evan and his team were willing to get me into a style of vehicle I needed right away and even transported me from the Carstar down the street to their building. The process of signing the papers and getting the keys was painless, and the car itself was a very nice ride. The only complaint I could muster was that the car was a little dirty on the inside, but the experience itself made up for it! Hopefully I never need a rental again under these circumstances, but if I did, I know who to look for!”
“my mom rented a car the other day & not only did they upgrade the car for us for free because of limited capacity but even though they were SUPER busy they accommodated us in a timely manner & after she dropped it off they called her to check if everything was all good & if she enjoyed the service , i would recommend , especially for emergencies or last minute decisions ! 10/10”
“We had to make a last-minute change to our reservation (completely our fault - check your license expiration date, people!) while heading out of town. Even though we originally picked up the car and made the reservation at the airport, the Irondequoit branch was the closest option for us.
Dakoda and Katie were incredibly helpful and had us taken care of and back on the road within about 5 minutes. They were both so kind, knowledgeable, and efficient during a stressful moment. We couldn’t have been more grateful for their help.

“Oh my gosh it was pouring rain and one young employee running the whole show .
Car was spotless .
I think she / he even detailed the Chevy blazer.
Then upon my return I had minutes to get over to amtrack had an important meeting in NYC
I ofcours was running late and ordered my Uber to amtrack station as I'm pulling into the satellite hertz location.
There was a customer picking up a rental and I actually apologetically interrupted them as my Uber pulled up to ask if I could just leave key and car. She didn't get mad and I apologized to the person she was waiting on.
Here's the kicker she must have worked on expeditiously closing out my ticket. And I know this because my Amex was credited back the hold hertz placed .
It's more then worth the few extra miles to head to that location

“I rent from this location frequently and always have a good experience. However, for each of the last 6 rentals over the last 8-10 months the tank was 3/4 full when I picked up the car. It happens so frequently that it seems intentional. Check the gauge before you leave and let them know if it's not full. Overall though I have a good experience here.”
