“Lots of stuff for good prices. They have toys, headphones, few personal care products. Like perfumes, nail polish and foot soak basins. Snacks, beach balls, floaties, hats, fone chargers and cases. Books, t-shirts, stuff to exercise with and stuff for pets. Its great.”
“As some others have mentioned, the store has an excellent produce section!! Always fresh and a wonderful selection!! My experience with the cashiers has been excellent as they have been friendly and helpful with packing my purchases. I have other choices in the area but if what I want is available at Sav-a-Lot, that's where I buy it. Always a good shopping experience.”
“This place has usually expensive toys for lower prices. It's a great way to get out of production toys and rare toys you can't find elsewhere. There are also a few vehicles that fit with my model trains that are helpful. The only thing I don't like is that this mall doesn't enforce the mask wearing, so It's unsafe to visit at the present time.”

“I’ve always liked Five Below, and this location is still a fun place to shop, but I have noticed that not everything is actually “five and below” anymore. A lot of items are now $5.55, $7, $10, and even higher, which was a little surprising at first. I get that prices are going up everywhere and certain items cost more to make, but it’s definitely something shoppers should know before they walk in expecting the old prices.
With that said, the store still delivers a great experience. The layout is bright, colorful, and easy to navigate, and it’s one of the few places where you can find toys, candy, headphones, home décor, graphic tees, workout gear, and seasonal stuff all in one spot. Even with some items costing more now, the value is still good compared to regular retail stores.
The employees are friendly, and the checkout line moved quicker than I expected, even on a busy evening. I also appreciate that they keep the shelves organized and stocked—no digging through messy bins.
Overall, I’d give the store a solid four stars. It’s still a great place to grab fun items at low prices, just be aware that not everything is $5 anymore.”
“I love shopping at the Dollar Tree in Peekskill, and I have to highlight how amazing Angie and Dennis are. Every time I come in—usually with my baby—they go out of their way to make my trip easier. They’re always friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. Dennis has even carried my bags to the car for me, which means more than he probably realizes when I’m juggling a stroller and everything else. Angie is just as wonderful, always greeting customers with a smile and making the store feel welcoming. They truly go above and beyond! Highly recommend!!”

“Had an amazing experience visiting this store this morning to grab some last minute items for an event. One of the store workers was super helpful, asked to assist me seeing that I would be struggling without a cart. Ge went and got me a cart and stacked my items carefully in the cart. The cashier, who seemed like he could also be the owner, I’m not sure, was also very kind and helpful. The store was organized and clean and overall it was a great experience. Thank you!!!”

“Store has been under new management since June of this year. We have turn around the store dramatically. The staff have also change their attitudes. Welcoming customers as they enter store. Making customers happy and satisfied with their purchases and shopping experience. Store Manager keeping store in-stock and having merchandise available for shoppers. Display weekly sales and signage properly displayed. Telling customer's to download the Family Dollar App to save $5 on Saturdays when you spend $25 or more. Store is much cleaner and zone. Seasonal looking good and store manager leading a great team and staying ahead of the competition.”

Really useful good selection of basics, like paper plates and utensils for meals, bathroom items got my shower caddy and over the door towel hooks, plus snacks, nice warm gloves and clothes, and best price for smokes. So glad to save time and gas from driving all over to multiple places.”

“I never knew about this place. If you don't, you should. Fun house stuff, fabulous clothing at near to nothing prices, just everything!. Many original brand names are cut out. Some tagless items still show manufacturer. They must have a deal to sell unsold products with Hanes, under armour, others. Also THE BEST place to get pajamas. During COVID - I just realized- we own more pajamas than real pants.? I grew up shopping in Bloomingdales, if I had known about Caldor or Bradlees I would have loved it!l Jembro is the place for tshirts, sweats, home good's, socks, snacks, just GO!”
