Efficient service but I would never take recommendations from the reps on the telephone. They completely distorted my service and did not know what they were talking about. Ended up with a streaming service and no TV. I was supposed to be lowering my bill by $30 with additional Extra TV. Nope. Finally spoke to a supervisor and the streaming thing would not work with the boxes. I wa told to return the new streaming boxes and original TV (cable) would be restored. My sister got involved and installed them have to have a new modem and router. One TV has regular channels I think. And, it's costing more.

I walked into this store with my elderly parents, who pay $350 per month for home internet, cable and phone. They have two cable boxes, and one seemed to be in the fritz, as several channels would just blank out on the one TV, but they were fine on the other. We brought the box in to this store, and a very nice young man named Emmett helped us, and quickly offered to give us new equipment. He and I talked about the setup, it seemed easy enough, I got home and followed the instructions, and got all the way to the end, when it stopped, and said I needed to call them to complete. 2 hours later, after being dropped multiple times, it turns out deep in Optimum’s systems, their records removed my parents as an internet customer, and they cannot reinstate their account, without some senior escalation managers. So by going into the store, and getting new equipment, we now do not have any service, internet, TV or phone, and they say that by noon tomorrow we should, 18 hours later. I think that Optimum did this deliberately, to upsell an old couple on some fiber plan, even though they are already paying $350 per month! This was not some accident or mistake that their internet plan was erased. This is an evil company, that is praying on elderly people, and Optimum should be investigated by the DOJ. Their evil plan has completely backfired, as I am now intent on getting them off Optimum, to either Verizon or AT&T. Do not walk into this store, or risk having your service shut off and lost indefinitely.

Don't walk away from this company ! RUN RuN like hell !! Where do I begin - 3 days of calls - 6 hours a day with at least 30 agents . First they play games on the home - ask you 100 questions because they don't want to deal with the problem and then transfer you while you wait on hold for 2 hours !! I made a big mistake by letting them take my mom off of cable sync put fios in She is by herself at 91 with no phone service . We have had 2 techs come out for 3 hours telling us we should go back to cable but optimum WoNT do it because it's more money for them with fiber . I absolutely loath this company , I'm looking into how to handle this and then they go t let you cancel !! This is a nightmare !!! Don't ever use this company !

Possibly the worst customer service. All they care about is the $’s. U would think for a $400+ bill a month you could get a live person to answer a simple question. Their computer answers are terrible their call center is inaccessible and they wonder why people are ditching them. This will be a legacy business destroyed by their own means. No one looks for an alternative they seek out because of how poos they are

First, if you're trying to find parking in the lot, chances are the spots will already be taken, or be blocked by the drive through line for the Starbucks located next door in the same shopping center. You walk in and sure the place looks fancy. But the employees have no personality, they don't greet you. Was finally cutting the cord to cable TV so I was returning my box. I'm not sure what took so long because someone else walked in as the associate was trying to figure out what to do, and they returned a cable box in no time.

The people working in this Optimum store are very nice and helpful had to return 2 cable boxes and was in and out in 10 mins. The only bad thing is the parking it’s next to Starbucks and they take up all the spots to park

8/26/25 Franklin Square store : Marleny was very helpful today, I have been having an ongoing problem for almost 2 months now with Optimum she had patience with me and explained sections on the bill to me hopefully this is the last visit to OPTIMUM. It’s been a frustrating experience and she made it worthwhile. Thank you again Marleny!

Everything outages like right now, service, same shows on different channels at same time, and they are not cheap what's the alternative

We went during the week on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't that crowded. We set up new service pretty quickly. The guy was very knowledgeable. Overall I would say it was a good experience here
