We stayed at Canoe Place Inn & Cottages for two nights and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful — elegant, quiet, and full of charm. Our room had a fireplace, which made it feel so cozy and private, especially during the holidays. When we arrived, there was even a Christmas tree in the room — such a thoughtful touch.
The service was excellent — warm, professional, and personal. Every staff member we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food at the bar was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed but refined.
The room was spotless, incredibly quiet, and beautifully designed — you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The breakfast buffet in the morning was generous, with fresh bagels, eggs, cheese, fruit, and pastries — the perfect start to the day.
We were there just after Christmas and right before New Year’s, and the whole place felt festive yet peaceful. It’s a high-end boutique hotel that still feels personal. We can’t wait to come back — it was a wonderful stay from start to finish.”

“Reveka is an amazing host. I spent the last weekend here for my birthday and had an amazing time. The property was gorgeous with lots of seating and a unique look. The marina is beautiful as well. Any issues with our stay were solved immediately and i was reimbursed for any inconvenience. I will definitely be coming back next year. I love the gift shop as well, if you forgot supplies for the beach or your stay, she will most likely have it in the shop. I can’t recommend this place enough. The walk to the beach is about 15-20 minutes but it’s a gorgeous walk. There is great restaurants all around.”

“If you’re getting married you MUST book here!! I got married June 1st 2025 and everything was amazing! The food, the staff, and the Veranda room went above our expectations! Jennifer the event manager was the BEST and always available to answer any questions I had along the way. My maitre D Sadie was amazing, helpful and made the wedding perfect and just knew the vision I was going for. She set everything up perfectly and helped the day run smoothly. My bridal attendant Lexi was the sweetest ever and so helpful. I stayed at the East Wind the night before the wedding and the day of the wedding and the room was great! Very clean and comfortable. The food at the reception and cocktail hour was AMAZING. My guests have been raving about it still 2 months later! East wind is just truly the best place and I’m so happy we got married there!! Best decision ever!”

“Perfect getaway location! Rooms are all updated! We stayed at one of their two bedroom cottages and it was perfect! Had a few issues come up with air conditioning not working and they had everything up and running within the hour! Amazing hosts and we will be back again!Walkability: To the bay as well as their pool”

“My friends and I had the best time staying at The Drake Inn! The place was super clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a little Hamptons getaway. What really made it stand out though were the hosts, Simon was amazing and his wife was so sweet — they were so helpful and easy to communicate with. Always quick to respond and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great stay.
They gave us awesome local tips and went out of their way to accommodate a couple of requests we had. It’s rare to find hosts this thoughtful. We would 100% stay here again!”

“This hotel is beautifully located right where the North Fork and South Fork split and really suitable for all kinds of day trips on Long Island. It’s also just a short walk away from yummy food places in the Riverhead town center (I recommend Goldberg Bagels). Parking is free and the staff is extremely helpful and really kind - it was truly a pleasure. We didn’t check out the pool, but would’ve loved to - it looked really good. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated, the infrastructure of the hotel very convenient. There are little barbecue stations, parking in front of all buildings and basics like Tylenol available in the lobby. The price was really good for the value and can’t be beat in the area!! 100% recommend, I will be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!”

“I’m usually a guest at Marriotts more elite collections and only stayed here for one night, but our experience was incredibly pleasant, especially for the rate. The market was great and the free breakfast was good value without having to leave the hotel. The indoor and outdoor hot tub/pool was a great option to have. The location was wonderful and close to outlets, a Walmart/Target, and EV charging. Thank you Marriott!”

“Me and My Husband Stayed here last year and we loved it. The Room was perfect size for a couple. We loved all the toiletries available in the bathrooms. It really felt personal. The beach is a few feet away, It is quite and private. Great to get a nice Tan.I loved that they have covered valet service in the front. We will be returning for sure. Thank You!”
