“I was very, very impressed with both the beach club and the superlative restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to please. The food was consistently delicious; the restaurant is on a beautiful porch overlooking the dunes. The club is in a stunning setting with ample beach activities already set up for members. I highly recommend this new and sparkling venue for family gatherings and other occasions!”

“The reviews of this hotel are honestly somewhat perplexing. I doubt whether the people leaving bad reviews and comparing this hotel to a Motel 6 have actually been to one. It's a fine hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and responsive (they allowed early check-in at no extra cost). The location was great. Housekeeping was great. Was it the nicest hotel room I've stayed in for the price? No, but you're paying for the location. I took off one star because we were there off-season and it was quite cold in our room at night, and it was bright at night, even with the shades drawn, due to the porch light outside our door.”

We even slammed our doors when we left for dinner without taking the keys with us.The hotline didn't answer us, even the next day.
We were saved by the man who stays here overnight as a watchman. He had the Key to all the doors.”

We stayed at Canoe Place Inn & Cottages for two nights and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful — elegant, quiet, and full of charm. Our room had a fireplace, which made it feel so cozy and private, especially during the holidays. When we arrived, there was even a Christmas tree in the room — such a thoughtful touch.

The service was excellent — warm, professional, and personal. Every staff member we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food at the bar was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed but refined.

The room was spotless, incredibly quiet, and beautifully designed — you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The breakfast buffet in the morning was generous, with fresh bagels, eggs, cheese, fruit, and pastries — the perfect start to the day.

We were there just after Christmas and right before New Year’s, and the whole place felt festive yet peaceful. It’s a high-end boutique hotel that still feels personal. We can’t wait to come back — it was a wonderful stay from start to finish.”

“I recently hosted a celebration luncheon in the solarium at Jedidah Hawkins Inn. From the very beginning when reaching out to Ilias to arrange menus and take care of details the process was seamless. The room was comfortable and gorgrous, the food was delicious, and the waitstaff esp the head server ( who was amazing warm and attentive) was beyond perfection. Everyone felt so well cared for and my guests all followed up with so many compliments including it was the best event like this they ever attended. Memories last a lifetime and this experience will be a standout ✨”

“Reveka is an amazing host. I spent the last weekend here for my birthday and had an amazing time. The property was gorgeous with lots of seating and a unique look. The marina is beautiful as well. Any issues with our stay were solved immediately and i was reimbursed for any inconvenience. I will definitely be coming back next year. I love the gift shop as well, if you forgot supplies for the beach or your stay, she will most likely have it in the shop. I can’t recommend this place enough. The walk to the beach is about 15-20 minutes but it’s a gorgeous walk. There is great restaurants all around.”

“I cannot say enough amazing things about our bridal attendant, Lex, and our maitre d’, Jimmy. They truly made our wedding day stress-free and unforgettable.

Lex was someone I could completely depend on from beginning to end. She came so prepared, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and assisted with absolutely everything. Her warm personality made the entire day even more enjoyable, and she made sure everything flowed seamlessly. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. May God continue to bless her!

Jimmy was incredibly professional and attentive throughout the entire event. He made sure everything was set up beautifully, paid attention to every detail, and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. His organization and dedication gave us so much peace of mind.

My husband and I are truly grateful for Lex and Jimmy. They went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. They are absolutely amazing, and we highly recommend them!”

“If I could give this place 1,000 stars I would.. The Inn is lovely. Beautiful fireplace and living room area where on a Saturday night the local's come and have a drink or 2 and chat and have fun.
I took my best friend here for her birthday. Watershed (restaurant in the inn) was amazing and the food and drinks were delish! The service was amazing! Our server Melanie made us feel right at home and even served us coffee in the morning by the fire. Saturday night they also had a great band playing in the bar. Someone on here was complaining about the loud music. The music ends at 10:30 and it wasn't that loud. My friend and I slept great. Also Inn is 1 block from bay and a few blocks from Ocean.
Stay here! You will not regret it. I will be back. Thanks for a great weekend.”

“We loved our 3-night stay in Cottage #8 and have the best things to say about Colonial Shores. We are already planning a return trip - the staff is lovely and they lent my son a fishing rod for our stay. We enjoyed having the convenience of the pool, a playground, the grill, the fire pit and beautiful Bay views. The birds chirping and flowers in bloom really set the tone for a lovely stay. Highly recommend this place!”

“My friends and I had the best time staying at The Drake Inn! The place was super clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a little Hamptons getaway. What really made it stand out though were the hosts, Simon was amazing and his wife was so sweet — they were so helpful and easy to communicate with. Always quick to respond and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great stay.

They gave us awesome local tips and went out of their way to accommodate a couple of requests we had. It’s rare to find hosts this thoughtful. We would 100% stay here again!”

“I checked in yesterday and was originally staying in Room 200, but I experienced some issues with the internet connection. I went back to the front desk to ask about changing rooms, and Hannet (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) went above and beyond to help me.

Not only did he quickly arrange a room transfer, but he also provided me with an additional internet access code in case I experienced any issues again. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made a big difference in my stay.

The room is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Hannet, for making my experience so much better!”

“I’m usually a guest at Marriotts more elite collections and only stayed here for one night, but our experience was incredibly pleasant, especially for the rate. The market was great and the free breakfast was good value without having to leave the hotel. The indoor and outdoor hot tub/pool was a great option to have. The location was wonderful and close to outlets, a Walmart/Target, and EV charging. Thank you Marriott!”
