Very un honest reps sneaky charges and shady practices. Suspicious charges pop up on credit card right after dropping the car off on time and within the rules. They think we are stupid trying these things. I have video and photos but very upset taking advantages of elderly people. Also hope corporate sees this and reaches back out to me. Not happy at all.I followed all the rules and brought everything back on time and within contract and they feel they can add a sneaky charge and don’t think someone will fight back they are wrong . Don’t care how much people are just not honest these days and this is a disgrace

Do not book here or on Priceline ever. They knowingly leave their customers stranded. This has happened more than once but we booked on priceline. our flight was delayed so we called to confirm someone woild be there to provide us the car. An agent at Alamo said someone would wait until 2 am. Of course no one waited leaving us stranded. there were 4 other customers there with the exact same story. A security guard at the airport passed by and said he’s been working their for 10 years and the same thing happens to multiple people nightly. It os absolutely dosgustong that Alamo knows about the problem and screws their own potential customers on a daily basis. I am travelling for a funeral and now dont have transportation. Alamo has made an already dofficult time worse by being a terrible company with zero ethics and customer service. Do not rent fromthem ever.. Terrible

I rented from this place a several times and the following is the summary of my experience:Pros: Vehicles have been clean and mostly in good shapeCons: Customer service is horrible! I returned a vehicle with 3/4 gas tank full and was erroneously charged for 3/4 gas tank refueling instead of 1/4! Called the customer service several times and all attempts were unsuccessful! Beware of being robbed (inadvertently I guess) as you won't be able to get your money back!- Update a month later:I sent an email to the customer service as they requested in the reply to my review. After a month, no response or action! I gave them 2 stars initially giving them benefit of the doubt that they might've overcharged me inadvertently. Now after reaching out several times in private email and in public, it is clear robbing Alamo proved it doesn't really deserve more than 1 star.

Rented a car for 2 weeks @ discounted rate after 2 weeks went back to Alamo and asked Taylor Robinson who is the manager there if she could increase the rental period for the next two weeks at the same discounted rate. She said of course and extended it. But they charged me the full rate on the card and now Taylor Robinson refuses to acknowledge her gaffe. Went up to the corporate office and had confirmation from Steven Wright via Customer care that the excess money will be refunded. But alas Taylor Robinson reappears and blocks it. Time to be honest Ms Robinson.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Our flight was delayed beyond their midnight closing. Since our initial arrival time (11:30) was near closing time, I called Alamo when I rented the car to ask how it worked. I called a 2nd time at 9:30pm on my rental day when I learned our flight was delayed. Both times I was assured they would wait up to 2 hours after closing time. We arrived at 12:45 and no one was there so we had to take a cab at 1:00 in the morning after traveling all day. We were totally lied to. Nice way to treat your valued Insider customers, Alamo. You have lost a customer in me and I will be sure to share this experience with my friends and business colleagues as well. I am beyond annoyed.

I didn't think I could receive exceptional service as I did at the LaGuardia location but I was equally impressed with the service I received from start to finish at the HPN location.Manny was the best! He was friendly, expeditious, and provided excellent customer service. He got me a great car which I ended up keeping for 28 days, and when I returned, he was the one to receive me as well. He went above and beyond, as did the rest of the team ( including the manager, who helped me with my extension) during my experience there. Thanks guys. Great job! Keep it up.

As you see below, I wrote a review and Alamo made it sound like they were responding and interested. I did reach out as requested, but did not hear back.Alamo car rental at HPN is one of the worst car rental counters. They are rude and it is evident that customer service is a low priority. The Avis desk on the other hand offers helpful and responsive customer service. If you are renting at White Plains Airport, I would go with Avis.

Alamo in Westchester airport is absolutely amazing!!Stellar customer service…New and clean cars..Super easy pickup/drop off…I will most certainly rent from alamo whenever I need a car rental!!!Thanks for always having excellent in person customer service!!!

Should be a -1. We were given a car with a registration that expired 1 full year ago. After calling 3 times & speaking with reps, transferred to their escalation dept, we were told to find another rental location to swap our vehicle. Please know we were now in North Carolina, 10 hours away from rental pickup and looking for a location not too far off course. After finding a location, we confirmed with an escalation rep a vehicle swap; we were told they have a comparable vehicle for us. Upon arrival at set location they did not have a vehicle for us. We called customer service yet again, and told I did not to tell him my concern again, because the outcome will be the same, a service rep from this location will call me back, even after I explained we were at the location the previous rep had confirmed with us. We called customer once again, at this point the rep explains we need to be transferred to Alamo Car roadside assistance not the escalation dept, coincidentally the call drops. I called once again, after transferring me again to the roadside assistance dept, this rep documents our issue, apologetically explaining she will begin the “process” for roadside assistance. Suffice to say, I will never rent from this car rental location; I will never rent from Alamo, as they do not value their customers, nor do they train their staff adequately to ensure proper customer experience. Also note the vehicle with expired registration has been documented as having been rented 4 prior times while expired. #NotASimpleMishap #AlamoDoesNotCare

Supposingly we had a midsize car reserved at $278. When we arrive they charge us almost $500. and give us a pick up truck !! When the reservation flat out says mid-size car the price we will pay at pickup and then when you get there everything is different !! This was reserved with Delta trips and I will be reporting them to Delta as well This is a scam if I ever seen one just to get more money out of people !! They did the same thing to my sister 6 months ago and claimed because there was a car shortage !! Doesn't matter if there's a car shortage because when you make a reservation that means it's reserved for you so why are they giving it to someone else !! They will never get our business again ! Not to mention no explanation at all ! Just took our money !

Ronald gave us phenomenal customer service this morning. I was blown away that he took care of a billing issue swiftly, causing us no stress and was so very kind and gracious. Thank you, Ronald! The check in and out experience was simple and the car was new, absolutely spotless. If we ever find ourselves back up north, we’ll definitely rent from Alamo again.

no 0 stars ? fine ..Staff is unprofessional and road. Staff was partaking in socializing in what seem to be the hang out , VS helping me the customer. I would suggest you rent from anywhere else but here.

Customer service was really bad at this location this dark skinned heavy set Hispanic looking employee gave me a hArd time with my Reservation he was very rude and unprofessional they are just hiring anyone these days
