They didn't have the compact car I reserved, so I was given a substitute, which ended up being a huge SUV with new technology that I wasn't as familiar with. However, one employee, Moses Meads, went above and beyond to stay after hours to show me how the vehicle functioned and even offered to swap out the vehicle the next day if I was available. I ended up not being available to return and get another vehicle, but it ended up being okay.

I made a reservation through a third party during the holidays and my experience went smoothly even given the hectic nature of late December. Upon both pickup and drop-off there wasn’t a person at the Enterprise booth, which probably explains all the reviews about not being able to get ahold of anyone over the phone. Luckily, they’re partnered with National and those folks were happy to help. All aspects of the rental were great. I waited 15 min for an upgraded SUV upon pickup and drop-off had no delays. I’d rent here again.

Rented this brand new Audi for the week I spent in NY. Then I swapped it out for the Charger to drive back to Georgia. The process could not have been easier, the people at the desk were super nice and helpful. This is why I'm a platinum member!

Specifically for the Westchester County Airport (HPN) location, 4 stars because the vehicle I reserved was unavailable at pickup time (it needed a windshield replacement) and the car provided in lieu wasn't the same class of vehicle. Otherwise the service was good and I did not have any other issues. The vehicle I was supplied was clean, comfortable, and seemed well maintained.

Enterprise is not on point! Roadside sent me here with no inventory left. I also dealt with Miguel helping other customers before he was finished assisting me. Look elsewhere if you need a reliable and efficient car rental service.

I’ve been an Enterprise customer for many years. I never rent elsewhere. However, their charges and fees have become ridiculous to the point that I may be forced to try other rental companies. I initially reserved a car for 7 days, then two weeks later had to modify my flight reservation, shortening the rental by one day. The price actually JUMPED $75 instead of going down. “Supply and demand” they claim. I already had the reservation…I just modified it. As it turned out, I used the car once during the week so I really more than $500 between the rental and the gas-fill option. The tank was FULL when I returned it! Customer Service at the 1-800 number was useless. They could care less about the situation or losing a long-term customer. I will, however, give a shout out to the young man at the return station, Jason, who couldn’t have been more polite, understanding and helpful. He understands service recovery and making customers feel valued. Kudos, Jason!

I flew into White Plaines late in the evening. There was staff available and friendly, he was super helpful getting me on my way quickly. The car was clean and had a full tank of gas. Everyone was helpful through the entire process. I recommend Enterprise to anyone looking for a clean well kept car and friendly knowledgeable service!! If you are in NY get the additional insurance. I landed at 10:30pm, drove, without incident, to the hotel in Tarrytown, parked and by 9am there was a ding in the drivers side door...... 100% worth it not to worry.

Picking up the car was not a problem, but the Toyota equivalent was not available. The AUDI was nice but very difficult to use the wifi and map display as well as to adjust other instruments.The return was quite a hassle. No one was at the parking lot to receive the car. The sign was old and not up-to-date. It said to bring the contract (of which I had no copy), the keys and the mileage inside to the counter.There was a long line at the counter of people picking up their cars. When I finally got the attention of one of the managers that just happened to come in to pick up something in the office, he told me to simply drop the keys in the box on the counter (which did not have a sign).I have to say that this is the first time I have been disappointed with the pickup and return process at Enterprise anywhere, and especially not in White Plains which we used frequently before COVID curtailed our travel.

I had a terrible customer service experience at enterprise rent a car (Westchester county airport). I was visiting from out of town and told to go here ( by enterprise road side assistance) to trade my car out because I had a flat tire. The agent referred me to a tow lot in white plains which could not help so I had to return to the airport. I waited for 3 hours with no assistance. Finally I just drove the next morning 200 miles away back home on the spare. Every time I called roadside assistance I was told the Westchester County airport enterprise would call me back. I never received a call from a manager as promised. Awful customer service and communication.

My experience was frustrating! At the counter the Agent was pleasant at first. He told me “someone will be bring me the car keys”.15 minutes later when I still didn’t receive any keys, I approached the agent again inquiring about the keys, and he said “the keys will be here”.Another 10 minutes later (no keys), I approached the agent again to find out what’s the hold up. I’ve been waiting over 25 minutes by now, (having someplace to be)… Where is ‘that someone’, and when will he/she be arriving?This time the agent’s attitude changed, and he states “they’ll be here”. He states he can’t give an estimate, and that he never stated an ETA.When I mentioned I needed to know what “they‘ll be here meant in terms of time, (an hour, two, three?)”, the agent snarkly answered, “you’ll just have to wait.”That is not what I want to hear after already waiting a half hour for a car that is supposed to be there. I expect an honest answer, not semantic! I need an estimation so I can figure out if I want to wait or rent from a different rental company.Your agent was not very customer friendly that day. There was no apology and/or explanation of being short staffed, backed up, and/or out of cars… In fact, his attitude with me, (and other customers), was “there’s pretty much nothing you can do, but wait”!WRONG! WRONG!! VERY WRONG!!!I remember when customer service was an essential part of business… Many years ago when I was CSA, I learned the following:“Treat EVERY customer with respect and value, for only a customer can fire an entire company by taking his/her business elsewhere… And a company without any customers, will be a company that’s not in business very long.”So, please inform your agent that, here is “the nothing I can do”… I will be taking my busy over to Hertz and Avis going forward… Enterprise just lost an ‘unvalued’ customer. ADIOS!!!You should pray all the other customers he was rude to, don’t follow suit.Cheers!
