“We booked a joint birthday party for my daughter and nephew and were very pleased with the experience from start to finish. The team at Jungle Adventure were extremely responsive from our initial inquiry to our follow-up after the party. The team onsite during the birthday were organized, attentive and very helpful. The food catered was very good and the cakes were beautiful - all ordered and coordinated by Jungle Adventure, along with the double decor (we had a theme for each child). All of the kids had a wonderful time and enjoyed the facility. I would definitely do another party here as well as attend open play sessions. Thank you!”

“Myself and 5 other people went to The Drunken Labatory Brooklyn to celebrate my cousins birthday. Each table seated 6 people so we had a table to ourselves. It was like $75 per person. When you enter you are asked to select one of the theme drinks, and given a shot. You are asked to come up with a sexy scientist name and put on your lab coat. We had a DJ who played good music. We also had a host/Professor who was very lively. You are able to order additional drinks (card only). Be prepared to do actual science project and answer trivia questions. Your prize is more shots. We definitely enjoyed ourselves”

“Food and drinks were okay. A little overpriced in my opinion for the drinks. Two small mojitos (not strong) cost $44. Had to keep going out the room to call them if we wanted to order drinks or food; so service could be a little more attentive. But they were accommodating and very patient when it came to splitting the bill unexpectedly. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and had good sound.”

I also liked that we had lots of flexibility and time with setting up and cleaning after the event. We had the space for practically an entire day. My only issue is that it took a few days to get my deposit money back. I took off one star away for that. The staff was friendly still. They apologized and fixed the issue. Other than that, it was a good experience. I’d recommend it.”

“The owners were amazing this spot is very beautiful and then a great location if you have to drive or take the train. I really loved that they had chairs and tablecloths readily available and even the big Grand chair if you're having a baby shower or bridal shower or just honoring anyone at an event. There's also a heating area that can heat all your food that's not ready to be taken out and placed into serving trays yet.”

“I saw Tiesto here. The venue is really cool. The open amphitheater layout really distributes the sound nicely. I was in the bowl section and didn't need ear plugs, my ears were not ringing by the end of the night. Ear plugs are normally a must for indoor venues.”

“Really cute place. Often come here with my kid for their open play after school during the week to jump in their bouncy houses and play with the arcades. And recently we attended a party which was very nice and organized with the helpful staff, offered pizza and snacks to the kids. The hosts also did some games with the children when they were in the play area and once we went in the room for food and cake it was also fun. “Great time here at the Rock Club.Purchased a Groupon and decided to visit on a Friday morning. Called ahead and the front desk staff were very quick in getting back to me to confirm that a belayer was available at that time. They also confirmed the Groupon over the phone. I went ahead and completed the required waiver forms online prior to our visit.Adequate parking was available at that time. The Rock Club (downstairs) shares its space with a with a tennis club, so make sure you follow the ramp down toward the Rock Club entrance and NOT the stairs whih leads to the tennis club.We arrived at around 10am and it was fairly empty. The Rock Club staff explained the process and set us up with climbing shoes.We were then introduced to our belayer who was awesome. Over the next hour, we tried climbs ranging in difficulty. The wall heights range from about 35-40 feet and the peg placement and wall angles vary throughout the climbs, making some more difficult than others. We even had some time to try some bouldering. Our belayer was great at explaining techniques and technical terms. She was very patient and very encouraging...though not "pushy" at all.After we finished, the staff was nice enough to show us around to see what else was available at the facility: childrens area, common areas, training rooms and weight rooms.May go without saying...wear comfy clothes. As a regular gym-goer, but someone who has NOT climbed before, this was a welcomed challenge. Certain muscles, particularly the forearms and core, may not be part of the typical gym regimen...but are very important in climbing...that being said, I was definitely feeling it the next day.Overall we had a great experience at the Rock Club. We will deinifitely look into other classes.Kudos to all the staff members there.”

The space is well laid out with sections for seating, dancing, entrance for when the star of the event arrives, and even a private room for the honoree.

Lighting, decorations, and every aspect of the space are absolutely stunning, and she was able to customize everything to our colors and themes.

We hosted our daughters sweet 16 here, and we were blown away by all the guests who raved about the venue. Without a doubt a 10/10 that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the Valley Stream area.”

Easy to talk to strangers at a place like this and make a meaningful connection. If you're going into the soundroom to watch the performances up close, don't forget your earplugs!
