“I started going here to dry my clothes after first asking the young girl/lady if I could and she said yes with a big smile on her face. Few times later her facial expressions changed to disgust as if I don’t notice. I need to support my community with ease and not feel like I am begging to use someone business or if she is drying my clothes with her own money and not mine. If it was an issue she should have said no. I gave 4 stars because the place is clean and the other staff members are wonderful to me but I really wanted to give 0”

“Probably the most reasonable priced laundromat in Queens. Machines all work. And none of the $2-5 preloadable card nonsense which is a scam. This place deserves Michelin star.”

“Good and Clean Laundromat. Friendly and very nice worker. Under new management since 2018, nice same day drop off service(wash &fold) and dry clean service too.”

“I've been having Amy Laundry pick up my laundry for wash and fold for a few years. They are excellent. The delivery man is always on time and very polite and pleasant. My clothes come back clean and impeccably folded. Great service. Thank you!”

“Good laundry spot , except when drying they charge 90 cents for half an hour. So if your clothes didn't dry completely in half an hour you have to pay another 90 cents for another half an hour to finish drying your clothes.”

“I go to that laundromat, partly because it nears to where I live. The place is big, think lots of washing and drying machines. Get bored, how about browsing the internet with their desktops?”

“I was hesitant to send 2 pairs of 150 dollar pants (I got it on sale but it was a longer length) to be shortened given the poor reviews. I looked around the neighborhood and there werent any places that opened early enough to drop off before work. After reading through some of the details it seemed safe enough and was pleasantly surprised. Recommend you read thru the reviews and make a decision. I sense there are alot of success stories but only the bad ones get posted so here to balance.

The pants are a navy performance pant disguised as high end dress pant and gray athletic pants disguised as casual dress pants.

Chatgpt assessed the chosen stitches as the most pragmatic options and the correct ones for tailors to use. Read this as, they did the job right versus they are better.

For the dress panta, the tailor used a blind machine stitch which is invisible on the outside by using curved needles to catch threads without piercing thru. The only better option is a high end hand stitch which is typically cleaner on the outside but more expensive and i couldnt find a flaw up close on this job that used the machine.

For the athletic dress pants they used a top stitch, second to a coverstitch used by the factory and specialized knitwear alterationists. The coverstitch is technically more durable by creating a loop with extra fabric for stretch. Most tailor shops wont have this machine and would be more expensive.

Overall, solid work, if i cant find a flaw close up, no one will inspect from the ground.”
