“I purchased several bags and are authentic and beautiful. Their prices are competitive, in fact lower than most pre- love sellers. I have enjoyed watching the live selling long before my first purchase, Mayette is very engaging and friendly and as they are a legitimate store, you are assured that you are sold the real designer pieces and not fakes. I would surely stop by their store if I ever go to NY.”

“I bought a 10 ounce bar of silver from Jersey City Gold Buyers. Mike told me what my options were between coins to bars of silver. He compared and beat online prices and made my purchase informative and effortless. I will definitely buy from him again.”

“Really loved this store! I found an absolutely beautiful 1970s tapestry coat here, and they had a beautifully curated selection of clothing and jewelry. Not a big store, but absolutely worth a stop! The shop attendant was kind, helpful and very knowledgeable.”

“The best shop in Sunnyside (and they’re dog friendly!) My pup and I never walk out of there empty handed —she’s always devastated when we walk by and the store is closed. So many amazing gems at Bliss. Could not recommend it more!”

“Such a joyful experience, in stark contrast to the usual experience of trying on pants, especially vintage denim. Ended up with my holy grail denim and comfortable stan rays, which had evaded me until now.”

“The Missing Link is a gem in NYC. I went in to find cufflinks and a stud set as accessories on a tuxedo for my wedding; the collection was incredible and I found the perfect, unique pieces. I had been to several department stores where the selection was lacking, but not here at The Missing Link. The experience was enhanced by Michael who was engaging, patient, and courteous. Highly recommend.”

“This sweet shop is providing an amazing service to parents, kiddos and the earth! I feel so much better about selling and purchasing gently used clothes than I do buying new stuff and thus, contributing to world’s consumption and waste. The selection is nicely curated and the staff is warm and helpful. So grateful to have Owl Tree in our neighborhood!”

The prices are unbelievably reasonable, they have a huge array of items ranging from clothing of all ages and sizes, durable shoes, and other accessories that you need for your little one. “This store is the epitome of what thrifting can & should be. if you ever went into a little boutique thrift store and were wowed by the pieces but dissapointed that the prices were completley unaffordable, this store will give you the satisfaction you’re looking for. It is a small, well curated collection, but the prices are very fair, so you feel like you can really participate even if you’re not super wealthy. It's also a small business -- doesn't really get better than this.”

“Loved this store. Beautifully put together.

Vintage & handcrafted goods such as ceramics, candles.

Lovely selection of sterling silver earrings, rings, bracelets, anklets, & chains!

Great spot for finding unique and well-made gifts!

Nice touch was the 28 Scotch & the Tequila to sample by the dressing rooms.”

“Lovely little vintage boutique with equally lovely staff. This pint-sized shop is packed with great merchandise - both new and vintage - and I could have easily spent hours in there, poring over little shelf, nook, and display. Can’t wait to wear all the goodies I purchased today! Glad we popped in after brunch. Will definitely pop in when I’m back in Astoria!”

“Great selection of men's leather jackets at good prices. Everything there looked very fashionable and the garments were all clean and well maintained. Even some items from big names like Hugo Boss etc.Unfortunately there were very few items in a size small for mens (I'm 5'7" with a pretty slim build and I have this problem at vintage/thrift stores a lot) so I couldn't get anything. I left wishing I were larger because full genuine suede and leather jackets for $100 bucks is a pretty good deal if you ask me....Minus one star because I wanted to buy a few jackets but the size distribution did not accommodate me ?”

“I‘ve been here today in the afternoon, had the best experience in here! amazing store, very nice and friendly shop owner as well as his friend that accompanied him. very great selection of jackets, jeans, y2k sweaters, just about everything you need for a vintage store. loved it and fully recommend it!”

“5 stars just for customer service. I wish I got the young lady’s name because she was so sweet and helpful. I do know she’s a fashion student in NY. She helped me decide on a gorgeous shirt that is not my usual go to color.4 stars for the shop itself. It’s hard to rate vintage shops since they all offer different items which may or may not fit in with your style. That being said, this is a cute curated shop with some interesting finds. I would say it is a true “vintage” shop with older items in great condition of course.3 stars for the prices. The biggest issue for me was the cost. However I wasn’t surprised since it’s located in Hoboken. My goal was not to find something amazing for cheap, it was to find something interesting which I did.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for original items at a higher price range and to anyone that enjoys vintage shops.”

“This store has all of the unique styles you won’t see everywhere. Great customer service and very personal. I went with my partner Kev Lo who was able to find my daughter’s bday gift in a crunch for time. Thank you Unique StyleBK!”

“Amazing curated vintage shop! The ladies there are knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and helpful during your shopping experience. I was there shopping with a client for men’s vintage, they only have one vendor that caters to men’s, which limited our shopping. However we did find a unique denim Diesel jacket there. At the register the ladies were helpful in suggesting other markets and shops that carried mens vintage.”

“I have been emailing with manager Lisa about donating some household items, and can't overstate what a pleasure it is to deal with her. She is responsive, kind, accommodating, and so helpful. I wish all businesses and organizations could be like her. I will look forward to stopping in the store next time I am in the area.”

“Have bought choice vintage items here for more than 10 years! Their curated selection is phenomenal and the staff are always super helpful and knowledgeable (more than once I’ve bought the item recommended from a store team member that wasn’t in my initial selection). Lots of vintage and consignment now in JC but you can’t beat the original for ladies and men’s fashion, jewelry going back to the 40s, and more. Also they have a good selection of vinyl now.”
