“If you’re a vintage Levi’s enthusiast like myself, who wants a custom experience and access to rare finds, don’t miss this place! My first stop in NYC was at The Vintage Twin’s “Jeanius Bar” in hopes of an unforgettable experience… however I was sadly disappointed and left shortly after arriving. My next stop was The Consistency Project and from the moment I walked in the door I knew this was my place… my home away from home… what vintage Levi’s dreams are made of. The staff was enthusiastic, welcoming and willing to provide an unforgettable experience and that’s exactly what I got. Hannah was the ultimate jean’s ninja and helped guide me during my visit. She did an excellent job at really listening to what my style was and doing her best to search for just the right ones to bring to me. I ended up scoring three pairs of rare finds from the 80’s and I couldn’t be happier! Perfect wear and character in every pair I got, and to be able to try them on and have them custom tailored was an added bonus. I cannot say enough about this place and can’t wait to visit again when in NYC! Totally worth the stop!!”

“I've been here couple of times with my friend. At first I was kind of shy, but the people here are so wholesome. There is programs for everyone, they range on your age. Everyone struggles to make friends or establish good relationships with new people. Here is very different though, everyone is cool, and even the staff are great here. There is no sanitation issues in this place, everything is tidy and beautiful... this place is very calming and relaxing. This place is AMAZING! Apart from all of that, there is church and it is very good and the community is healthy and fun. They have a variety of things such as Guitar lessons, and there is a basketball court to play in, there are drums... so many things.”

“Very affordable clothing. Went there during a hangout with a friend and the shop is just MASSIVE! They have a bridge connecting 2 separate sides of the store and all the clothes are in good quality. They have dressing rooms you can also try clothes in if you find something you like. Apart from clothing, they also sell ties, glasses, purses, hats/caps, and various types of footwear! I enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop, and the prices were both resonable and affordable. Definitely going back someday!”

“visited Grand Street Local today after seeing them on Instagram, and I’m really glad I did. I met Jon, one of the owners, who was super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The selection in the store is very diverse and well curated. Tons of Levi’s jackets from different eras and styles Type I, Type II, Type III, Lee Riders, and more, plus a huge variety of military pieces and vintage clothing . I ended up doing a trade for a 1970s Levi’s jacket, which was a great experience in itself. You can really tell they know their stuff and care about what they’re selling. Definitely will be coming back. Highly recommended.”
