Horrible customer service. Never pick up the phone. It rang for twenty minutes straight and I finally had to hang up. Waiting two months for a part. They said it is out of stock. I can get the part on eBay. I would NOT recommend them. I’m only using them because they are sent from the warranty company. Technician Josh is their only saving grace.

If we could give them zero stars we would. 6 weeks to repair our microwave. Said the part was on back order and they would call when it came in. Never received a call. Called them and was told they can't get the part and we had to call manufacturer ourselves and they would send technician . He ame 2 times and didn't have right tools. 2 more appointments made and no show. Reported them to BBB. Do not deal with this company. Horrible service

This is a TERRIBLE company...3 tries to get someone to fix my dryer...they schedule appointments, I take off from work and no one shows. When you call you almost never get someone on the phone and when the woman (Jen I believe her name is) picks up she seems amused that they didn't show up and has an combative attitude...she will insist that the tech showed up and somehow you missed them (not possible) She then placates you by "scheduling" another appointment which they do not show up to...

Terribly run business. Over a month to get a common part, NEVER answer phone calls, just put on long holds that puts the DMV shame. Don’t show up for appointments and then tell you no was there when you’re literally sitting on your front steps. Avoid at all costs.Update: At least they have one good person there, Josh Ferrara finally got the job done right! Hopefully it’s the start of something good for them ??.Well done Josh!

I have a Thermidor fridge, first red flag was the technician says I’m more of a Frigidaire guy. Charged me $350 to diagnose the fridge and hood on my burner. Four weeks later, I still don’t have a diagnosis. Fortunately I paid with my AMEX and disputed the charge. I tried calling six times and always got a run around. Stay far away from this company.

Truly confused how this company is still in business, I thought it was just me but then I read all the reviews. They scheduled an appointment, sent the wrong guy, made me wait a precious another week (with a broken fridge) when I trusted they would send me someone else, but now reading these reviews it is obvious that they had never planned to send someone. I called multiple times, emailed, and I don’t get it? If the owners of this company are reading this and have any sense of integrity, they should just close down shop. I’m truly wondering what is in it for them to stay opened? Seems like a true scam. I’m not one to leave negative reviews unless truly warranted, but these guys are shady and customers be warned!

Just as every other 1 star review says... their service is garbage. Its been 6 weeks already waiting to get my speed queen repaired. Speed queen said I needed a new part, they came and said the same thing. 3 weeks went by with no update had to leave multiple voicemails. Oh you didn't need a new part, we will send someone to fix it was the response. They came a 2nd time and what do you know, still needs a part. It's been 2 weeks now and they have "ordered" it but I doubt it. Calling speed queen again to get someone else to fix my washing machine since they seem to not care.

I have had great experiences working with RTV for multiple appliance repairs. They are honest, transparent and upfront about what is involved in any repair. The owner, Andrew, is an exceptional technician and incredibly knowledgeable in the trade. Sometimes the initial attempt at a repair are not always “the fix” but RTV has always followed through and ultimately resolved the issue. I’ve realized that appliances today are far more complicated than machines from 20 years ago and I am glad to have a company like RTV that I can call for help whenever I need them.

All of the negative reviews are very much true. I requested a service call through GE to fix my range microwave (more expensive than a typical microwave since it also provides ventilation for cooking) and they assigned me to RTV. They came and couldn’t fix it saying they would need to order a control panel and reschedule the service. Two weeks passed with no update. I called and texted over and over, leaving messages. It’s true that they never pick up the phone or return phone calls or other communications. Even GE reps tried to contact them and they did not pick up. It has been over a month since they came back in January. Turns out the part was in stock at GE and they never bothered to do anything about it. They just go silent and ghost you after the first service call. I’m pretty sure the only reason they are in business is because of being a GE service provider. I highly recommend to avoid this place altogether or try to get GE to re assign your case somewhere else and have the parts ordered directly to your house. RTV is highly unprofessional and completely non responsive. I plan to leave a complaint with GE in hopes that if enough people complain they will cut them off as service providers. Who knows if they will but it’s the best I can do to attempt to hold this place accountable for their actions.UPDATE: GE ended up sending their own technician to finally resolve the issue. Luckily we got an awesome technician with years of experience who actually knew what he was doing. Turns out the microwave was installed incorrectly and burned out one of the heat detectors. Our tech had the part in his van and replaced it in a few minutes. We ended up not needed a new control panel at all. Looks like RTV is also completely incompetent in addition to all of their other terrible qualities. Lesson: RUN as fast as you can.

Started a Job to replace an electric start on my Thermador Stove Top and disappeared after having me by the parts ... Never answer their phones ... next step is to show up at their offices to find out what is going ... maybe they are out of business ...

I am in the process of suing this company and filing a complaint with Suffolk County Consumer Affairs. They make appointments and don't keep them, they do not return calls, and most of all they do not repair appliances. I have been staring at a broken brand new refrigerator that they are licensed to repair as per the warranty for two months now. It's sad these folks have to be motivated by suits and complaints to do what they are contracted to do. Stay Away.

Horrible I had an appointment last week and they never came or even called to reschedule and this was the second visit because the first so called technician they sent did nothing but tell me that they had to send a specialist I don't get what is the purpose of them sending a technician that does nothing I called and Jen finally answered not from my cell number but another due to that it seems they already knew the number that was calling she answered then gave me a new appointment for today Jen called me at 9:57 am this morning to confirm my appointment but yet again technician a no show ? I have been without a fridge now for over 3 and a half weeks... update came today 8-10-23 now I have to wait again let's see how quickly they respond this time now it's the condenser I like to get everybody a fair shot they added more Freon they said I should be good for now

If you have the choice to junk your costly appliance or have RTV service it. Junk it.. RTV does not answer the phone, text, give work order updates. Once you’ve contracted with them, your appliance repair ordered is dropped into black hole never to be seen again.
