Another Brick and mortar establishment doing their best to keep up with the online retail explosion. That's why I gave them an extra star, but this Macy's has been here for my entire life and has never been the greatest experience for the shopper. When you need help there is never anyone around to ask, yet when "window shopping" the aisles they seem to have a lot of staff willing to make you feel very uncomfortable by thinking they are covert security ops and your picture is in the number 1 spot for theft. I have been back to this store 3 times in the last month (because my wife had a problem with an online sale) and every time they followed me around the store like I was a kingpin, yet if I asked a question about something they looked at me as if I was rude for interfering with the mission they were on to just Observe my movements. It makes you feel very uncomfortable to think they are more willing to form a bad opinion of the customers then actually help them with their needs. Better training on all retail levels and a little bit more incentive to help might be what they need, but in my opinion close the store because this one has never been great at the service anyway. I don't like giving bad reviews but when deserved there is little choice but too.

Tried to make appointments for 5 people to get their faces done at the Mac makeup counter and they straight up said it wasn’t possible & sent us to ulta without even asking not one question about anything. Never encountered such rude people who didn’t want to work whatsoever. Immediately came off hostile, super gross.

Not a good place to buy footwear that aren't dress shoes, I tried buying a pair for a boot that I liked and they gave me a box with mixed different mixed footwear instead. Also I asked for Another pair of shoes exactly my size and they presented me a smaller pair. As though they did not listen to a word I said.

If I could give Macy's furniture dept. no stars I would. I bought a leather reclinning sofa. The sales people there insist you get the 5 yr. furniture warranty that protects everything from saging, mechanical, accidents... Liars!!! I have my sofa for 3yrs now. I live alone and am away a lot. So how much use does my sofa really get? Well, the middle part of my sofa has a big indent cause the cushion has flattened and the USB ports are so slow it takes 4 to 7 hrs for a phone to charge. Now both Macy's and no worries warranty are both claiming they don't cover the damages. I reported them to Better Business Bureau. Hopefully there's a resolution to my problem. I'll keep you posted but for now, buyers beware!!
