“This spot is so cute! Finding modest clothes at an affordable price (especially in Manhattan!) is SO hard, and having one in the neighborhood has made that helpful. I no longer have to trek almost two hours to Brooklyn, its right here! I got two rings from there and I plan on coming back for a Fall closet refresh.”

Things I recommend
1. Small, Medium and Large needs to be separated and highlighted very clearly to avoid wasting time searching
2. Kids corner needs to clearly labeled too.

“Very nice staff and they have some nice options. Not all items are secondhand, some still have tags on them. I got two pairs of pants for 23 bucks - one was banana republic and the other caché. 10/10 recommend checking out.”

adoption for cats i was told are $195 and comes with everything: cats are chipped, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and comes with their expensive cat food >_< an amazing price for a forever friend.”

“Staff is very nice and willing to help you with pricing questions. Thrift store is on the smaller side with the majority of the space being used for women's clothing/shoes. There is a smaller room for men's clothing/shoes and another room for houseware and small furniture pieces. Treasures can definitely be found at a great price. Store had dozens of nice coats and leather jackets.”
“Having recently moved into the neighborhood, I stopped by to donate a batch of toys. The location was very easy to navigate to using Google Maps. The parking lot was packed when I arrived, so it took a short wait for a car to pull out before finding a space.
Once inside, however, the experience was great—zero wait time, fast processing, and very helpful staff. It's a wonderful place to give unneeded goods a second life, reduce landfill waste, and add a few positive Karma points along the way. Highly recommended!”
“I really love this store I been going every couple of weeks and everytime I go i grab a good find ?. The only thing I wish is that they had a few days exchange policy, I went yesterday and found some camera film i instantly grabbed it since my camera is old and film is hard to find and it was for the same brand as mine, looked like the same exact catridge when I checked it, it was for my camera technically but was for a newer version than the one I have ? so now i have 0 use for it. I would love to at least be able to exchange as it was $10. I totally understand no refunds policy But I guess you win some you loose some. Definitely still gonna go back.”

“There is a young man who is the worst. I asked him twice about something and he didn't answer me and then he answered me in Spanish. I mean, he did know the language. My clothes fell to the floor and he left the store. He didn't sell me. He told me the devil. It doesn't exist and he doesn't care if I report this way, he offended me and yelled at me in front of everyone.”
“Over the years I have visited numerous thrift stores across NYC and various other cities. Beyond all the hidden treasures located between the aisles, the entire staff at the Riverdale location truly go above and beyond for anyone who is fortunate enough to walk through the front doors. Each individual goes above the call of duty to ensure all clients are treated like family members rather than clients. They truly have a vast selection of new items every day from electronics, jewelry, books, music and everything in between. I would recommend Unique Thrift to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience.”

“i came here a few days ago with my best friend , first impression, it’s pretty big and they have basically everything from clothes to even under garments , etc. The staff were decent but they lowkey kept eyeing us weirdly. They have a lot of good brands and the pricing is soooo perfect!!!!! The fitting room was closed but everything fit perfectly and was in great condition so i definitely recommend.”

“Although I have emphathy for the inconvenience & frustration for lack of consistency w/store hours...the owner has been sick, in the hospital & recouping from a broken foot! Also, the loss of her sweetmother (reg customers know who I'm speaking of), & another very unexpected death in the family, all in the past year +/- have been hard for her. Dare I suggest you call 1st, just to verify her open hours. Just a thought. I'm just saying...?”

“Probably my favorite thrift at the moment. Not only do they have a wide selection of merchandise at amazing prices, but the church it supports is an open, welcoming and inclusive church! The volunteers/staff are always friendly and helpful. There is always great turn around of merchandise, I always find something new when I go, which is quite often. They’ve done an overhaul of the layout and it’s been a great change. Everything is always neatly organized and displayed in well-curated manners.”
