“Wow, the food here was amazing. I had the pan fried cod dinner, nice and flakey, with grilled veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had the seafood chowder, so creamy and full of fish with a lovely flavour to it.”

“It's a really beautiful place with enough rooms to host events. The interior decoration is top notch?. Plus the catering service is excellent and the servers, very courteous. Love everything about the convention centre. So if you are looking for a place to host your events be it school graduation ceremony, prom, or even galas, the convention centre would be the perfect place”

“Laser tag was a lot of fun! We went through a few different game modes and had the opportunity to play the ones we liked the most. Staff was helpful and considerate of the kids in our group too. Highly recommend!”

“Wanted something downtown and walking distance from water street, etc. great location. Funky old warehouse conversion. Room with king size bed was great. Big main room with chairs and desk. Big bathroom with bath and 2 person shower. Glass wall between bathroom and main room a bit odd. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good, selection of fruit, muffins, croissants, yogurt and oatmeal. Only complaint about room was noise between rooms, could hear talking.”

“One of the better hotels, that is very close to the Harbour. It has nice views of the Harbour, Signal Hill and of The House of Assembly, the historic Basilica and The Rooms Museum.

Amenities are nice, I heard the pool has a section for toddlers and a hot tub. was here for a conference and did not avail of those facilities but did hear much positive feedback about it in the foyer and elevator from other customers.

There is a nice indoor garden/ green space with tropical foliage. Anyone familiar with the cold, gray and windy climate (winter): this is a little oasis.

Parking the Ram Truck was reasonable but it is off season, spaces were abundant. Not sure peak season what that would be like.

There is a bar onsite.

It is a reasonable walk to an assortment of restaurants and there's a good few things to see and do (in specific to my trip The Government House).

I am a Board Member that is here via arrangements made for the conference. I was told through that informational grape vine that it was a lovely experience to organize the event at this venue.
