“Childcare Network #146 has been a saving grace for not only my 15 month old son, but also my 7 year old and myself. I had been a stay at home mom since our 2nd child was born and we knew how important social interactions with my oldest were. Childcare Network welcomed us with open arms, warm hearts and lots of smiles. My 15 month old loves his toddler class. The teachers are so engaging, patient and definitely have love like no other. My oldest is 7 and goes to the after school program and he loves the amount of outside time they get here! Childcare Network #146 is the absolute best!”

“This is a bittersweet moment for me. These ladies have been here for my daughter and me since she was one and a half years old; she is five now. They made being a mom and a single mother a walk in the park. Everyone always assisted me with love and embrace. I would start my day knowing that my daughter was in good hands and she was amongst amazing women. Each person brought their own sparkle to the room. They prepared Unity (My Daughter) for school but also life. “Like any parent, its always hard to leave your child in the care of strangers. However, at the Vandalia location, there are no strangers. They welcomed my daughter with open arms. Its been about 1 year since her start date and I have no regrets. KUDOS to the staff. They are amazing. The director is equally amazing. I appreciate how they nuture and care for the children. “My son has been at Sunshine House since he was 11 months old, and just graduated Pre-K—and if that alone doesn’t speak volumes about this amazing place, let me tell you more. As a very particular and involved parent (he’s our only child), I was incredibly nervous when we first started back in November 2020—right in the middle of COVID. I probably drove the staff crazy calling anytime the app didn’t update every 30 minutes! But over time, I saw how my son thrived and felt safe, and that trust began to grow.

The past five years have been filled with loving, dedicated teachers who not only helped my son grow academically and socially, but were also there for us during all those “first-time parent” moments—offering reassurance, guidance, and true support. I even popped in unannounced a few times early on, just to make sure we hadn’t ended up in one of those daycare horror stories you read online. Each time, I left reassured and grateful.

Now that we’re preparing for kindergarten, I find myself in tears—not just because my baby is growing up, but because he’s also leaving behind a second family. Sunshine House has been such an important part of our lives, and we’ll always be thankful.

And I have to give a special shout-out to Miss Becky! Her love for children is so genuine—you can see it in her eyes and her smile. My son absolutely lights up when he sees her and shouts “Hey Miss Becky!!”. Teachers like her are rare and unforgettable.

“My daughter has been going to Sprouts for afterschool and summer camp since she was in the first grade. They are absolutely amazing! They help help with homework and projects, which is a life saver for me as a working mom. They have tutored her in subjects that she struggled and during the pandemic when in person schooling was closed, they hosted virtual school so that I did not have to miss work. Carolyn and Kelly have become like family to me and I highly recommend Sprouts for anyone's afterschool and summer camp needs!”

They are polite, professional and friendly. They are patient, speak kindly to my children, very communicative and truly love what they do. My children have excelled both academically and socially at KMA. We absolutely love KMA and what they give of themselves to my children every day!”

“I just have to say that this facility has been absolutely amazing. From Mrs.Tori and Mrs.Heidi, who are my 1 year olds teachers, to Mrs.Marsha and Mr.Anthony. They all love on my daughter and also my son, who is autistic and does not even attend the school. The staff always makes a point to acknowledge his presence and make him feel special. Mrs.Marsha even sits with my son while I am getting his sister ready and watches videos about flags (his choice). The ENTIRE staff is incredible. I can not say enough good things about the wonderful, caring, and genuine people that work at this location. We are truly blessed to be part of the sunshine family!”
