“In life as parents, we are very protective when it comes to our children. Also, I must say, as grandparents we get even more protective of our grandchildren. When I’m leaving the Nest with my granddaughter, and we’re walking to the car, she saids to me, “Nene, I love my school!” With the biggest smile on her face. Not one time, but several times. As her grandmother, first I feel joy, then I feel peace!! I know my granddaughter feels happy and comfortable there. “I’ve waited almost a year to post this review. My daughter started here in the infant room at around ten and a half months, she’s now in the 1-2 toddler room and she will be 2 in July. The most important thing you look for in a daycare is safety and I had so much anxiety about leaving my babygirl anywhere, but the staff here has always made sure to keep my daughter safe and has always properly communicated . My daughter has so much fun when she goes to school. They do a lot of activities, art, play outside, dance, learn. I love that we get daily pictures of their activities, I love that we get to keep cute pieces of art that they create weekly. I love that they have dances and activities that parents can participate in, even at the toddler age. The daycare director Tovia is an angel, she truly cares about the children here and has gone above and beyond to make us feel like family. Ashley, assistant director is great too and very professional. My daughter’s teachers Ms.Taniyah and Ms.Jennifer are the sweetest and I’m very grateful for them. Ms.H, the infant teacher, was also amazing with my daughter, she showed so much patience and is so kind. Thank you guys for having a great team. I would recommend this daycare 100% to any parent out here doing multiple tours and having second thoughts.”

“My son has been at Sunshine House since he was 11 months old, and just graduated Pre-K—and if that alone doesn’t speak volumes about this amazing place, let me tell you more. As a very particular and involved parent (he’s our only child), I was incredibly nervous when we first started back in November 2020—right in the middle of COVID. I probably drove the staff crazy calling anytime the app didn’t update every 30 minutes! But over time, I saw how my son thrived and felt safe, and that trust began to grow.

The past five years have been filled with loving, dedicated teachers who not only helped my son grow academically and socially, but were also there for us during all those “first-time parent” moments—offering reassurance, guidance, and true support. I even popped in unannounced a few times early on, just to make sure we hadn’t ended up in one of those daycare horror stories you read online. Each time, I left reassured and grateful.

Now that we’re preparing for kindergarten, I find myself in tears—not just because my baby is growing up, but because he’s also leaving behind a second family. Sunshine House has been such an important part of our lives, and we’ll always be thankful.

And I have to give a special shout-out to Miss Becky! Her love for children is so genuine—you can see it in her eyes and her smile. My son absolutely lights up when he sees her and shouts “Hey Miss Becky!!”. Teachers like her are rare and unforgettable.

“This facility is truly a second home for my child, who absolutely loves her time here. The leadership team, including Mr. Bilal, Mrs. Insa, and Mrs. Saira, are wonderful, dedicated professionals who go above and beyond to support both parents and children. They are deeply committed to nurturing every child’s emotional growth and academic development.
The infant room is exceptional; the teacher there is incredibly attentive and does everything possible to ensure the babies are happy and well-cared for at all times. Their after-school program is equally impressive and well-structured.
What stands out most is the team's hands-on approach. Mrs. Insa is a phenomenal director who is constantly in motion, assisting in every classroom and helping wherever she is needed. Mr. Bilal works tirelessly to ensure the center runs smoothly. He even provides a vital transportation service, picking children up from school and, in special circumstances, assisting parents with home drop-offs when they are in a bind.
I cannot recommend this center highly enough for any parent seeking a supportive, professional, and loving environment for their child.”

“My daughter has been going to Sprouts for afterschool and summer camp since she was in the first grade. They are absolutely amazing! They help help with homework and projects, which is a life saver for me as a working mom. They have tutored her in subjects that she struggled and during the pandemic when in person schooling was closed, they hosted virtual school so that I did not have to miss work. Carolyn and Kelly have become like family to me and I highly recommend Sprouts for anyone's afterschool and summer camp needs!”

“KinderMission Academy (KMA)is such a wonderful facility. It is a very safe and caring environment for my two children. Administration is wonderful and always accessible. The teachers are amazing. They are polite, professional and friendly. They are patient, speak kindly to my children, very communicative and truly love what they do. My children have excelled both academically and socially at KMA. We absolutely love KMA and what they give of themselves to my children every day!”

“Appleville Academy is one of the best daycares around. My kids love it, it’s very diverse, and in a very reasonable location. They always throw events for the kids, like birthdays, holidays celebrations etc. They have been consistent and very helpful through the pandemic. They always make sure they are checking the kids temperature and keeping it safe clean for the workers. My kids come home all the time with cool looking projects they have done in class. It’s a good feeling knowing that they are always helping the kids become more knowledgeable each and everyday. Appleville is a great and safe place for kids.”
