Econo Lodge Biltmore is described as a nice hostal that is clean and good for families with kids. Some guests find the rooms very nice, very nice people, polite, friendly, and awesome, and recommend it 10 out of 10. Others say the room was run down and not very clean, with dirty linens, holes in the bathroom door, and overall filthy. The location is close to downtown but a long walk. A $60 refundable deposit was taken, but it took 5 days to credit back. Late check out was promised no charge, but the manager charged $90 for a room that cost $60 a night, and the guest was left in a negative balance. The manager and housekeeper were rude, cursing, yelling, and threatening to throw items in the trash. Some guests noted roaches, a toilet barely flushed, and uncomfortable beds. The outside of the hotel might make you uncertain of how your stay will be, but the rooms were clean, little dated, and beds were very comfortable, perfect for weekend needs.
Room is dated and nothing super fancy, but we were traveling through and needed to get some rest for the night. Honestly, the bathroom was a little dirty. The owners are rude and disrespectful. I personally wouldn't come back here.

I've come to find out ,all of these places don't rent to anyone living within a 50 mile radius, so no locals. But this guy at this spot herd my story of me being unaware of this glitch, and rented me a room. Not like the clown at the quality inn up the street.
