“Amazing historical B&B with lovely decor and great service from the friendly receptionists especially.Make sure you arrive between 5 and 6 for charcuterie hour!!Only issue was with the breakfast on the second day when I was served cold sausages with my omelette. I should really have said something.”

“Quick trip. Found a great deal on the Hotel Tonight App. Probably would avoid otherwise but it’s an awesome place. Even with kids. We took them out to dinner and on a walk around downtown, including a trip to French Broad Chocolate for dessert, then hung out playing free arcade games downstairs at the draftsman. The rooms are extremely nice. I recommend this place.”

“My husband and I stayed in room 201 in this really cute hotel. The location was fabulous. Walking distance to just about everything. Love the decor of the room and the space it offered compared to a typical hotel. It was cozy and had everything we needed.I do have a couple of complaints and am only stating them because as an owner, I'd want to know.We stayed for 4 nights. We came in contact with 4 different staff members. Only one was welcoming and greeted us everytime we left and came back. The other three didn't say a word to us. One of them even had to help me get into the door coming back in and he didn't say anything to me. It's almost like they didn't want to bother with us. Although they seemed bored. It's not hard to be friendly and inviting. I wouldn't like that if it were my hotel.Another issue is the pull out couch. The worst mattress and springs I've ever seen. I'd replace that ASAP.We really did overall love this place, that's why I gave it 5 stars. I truly do not want to hurt the business, but feel like these are two important concerns and can be easily fixed. Especially the customer service. Maybe a good talking to will help make someone else's visit more pleasant.Thanks”

“Stayed here a couple months ago for work, this is an excellent Hilton. I stay at a lot of Hilton properties for work and I enjoyed this property (some aren't so great). Staff and grounds well kept. Restaurant speedy. Room was clean and updated. Free parking as well. Thanks!”

“We were going through a remodel at home and had family from out of town coming to visit. Because we didn’t have a spare room available we chose to all stay at the TownePlace Suites downtown Asheville. It was a great choice. We able to walk downtown to everything and it made for an extra special time together!!Nearby activities: All the restaurants, bars, entertainment and shops you ever want.Walkability: We were able to walk downtown”

“Stay here when we can every year.Just a note,if you are a points member like myself,make sure you book as many as you need with your points to begin with! We have had it only happen at this location at least 3 different times! Needed to extend,they wouldnt let me at this location.Had to move to another location.I travel 10 months a year,and usually have hundreds of thousands of points from my crew and me staying at IHG,never had any problems anywhere else.So we just stay when they let us.lol”

“We were on the 4th floor with several windows. We had some view of the mountains, but part was covered as the trees are growing up. In the shops at the house, the employees were not Biltmore friendly. Our server at the Stable Cafe was very nice. At the winery, all employees were great.”

“Everything about this beautiful resort makes me happy. I love the history, and the tribute to human effort and ingenuity it was when it was built. It feels almost sacred, walking the grounds. I hope to be here someday when it is very cold, and they have a giant fire roaring in the fireplace. I thank my lucky stars that we got to come here in the first place. There are plenty of less expensive places to stay in Asheville but none that give you this kind of experience. The service, the food, the accommodations, and the scenery are all without equal.”

“We arrived to find a Large room that was very clean. The was a small refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. We had a two person jacuzzi in the room The only cons were there was not enough lighting in the room. The bedside lamps had no lightbulbs and instead there was a very small reading light and a light at the top of the headboard. For the room size it was a little dark even with all the lights on. Also the bed was so close to the heating unit that you had to walk sideways to even get through or crawl over the bed to get in and out. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, fruits, cereals, yogurt, and toast. The location was next to a large shopping mall, gas stations, and a restaurant. The staff was very friendly and efficient.”

“I enjoyed my stay here for my first trip to Asheville. Check-in was easy, because I did mines ahead of time via text app. The location was convenient. The room was nice and clean. The king size bed was so comfortable. The breakfast bar was more than I expected in the best way with many hot & cold options of food to enjoy. The only hiccup I had there was a dog barking a few times next door when trying to nap early one day.Rooms: The room was nice and clean. Checkin and out smooth.Details matter:Room 60 very chilly degrees when we arrived. Took hours to get it up to 70 deg. Not good.Trim around baseboard falling apart. Not a good look. Bed good. View Excellent.Not impressed with decor. Contempo but cold and sterile. Needs more artwork, color, warmth...”

“My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay! The property is so quaint, beautiful, and well-maintained. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was one of the best we've had at a hotel. Complimentary snacks and drinks was a lovely touch and breakfast in the morning was convenient. The breakfast options are limited but served our purposes as we had early mornings. The location is great and the property is just a few minutes from downtown Asheville. We highly recommend staying here and would stay here again if traveling to Asheville!”

“First off, the lady up front makes sure that you get what you want. When we called to get a room, she asked us if we wanted a room with beds. That’s exactly what we wanted. I was needing to cut my toe nails but didn’t feel like bending down to do so. But the chipped tile in the bathroom took care of that. And other people must’ve took advantage of this feature because there was a pile of toe nails in the corner. The color tv was definitely a plus. Enjoyed watching M.A.S.H reruns on it. Minimal mattress stains. Can’t wait till next year to try the rooms with out beds.”

“This is a great budget motel for exploring Ashville over a weekend. The ease of check-in and staff were great, the rooms were meh. I like the idea of having a full window wall but not in a first floor where anyone could look in. Beds were decent but walls are thin so I woke up to people getting back at around 2am in the next room. Other than that, the bed and bathroom were good for the price and the breakfast was alright”

“It's a dump! My room was uninhabitable and I refused to stay there. They have refused to refund my money as well. the linens were dirty, there were holes in the bathroom door, and it was overall filthy. I wasn't expecting a lot but I do expect a clean undamaged room. It you cannot provide that service you should be ashamed of yourself for not refunding a guest.”

“The cabin was very clean and well appointed with tasteful decorations and conveniences. You can tell that the owners care a lot about service by their attention to detail. Examples include stylish, antique looking fridge and microwave, hammock for balcony, record player with vinyl records, books, well-stocked coffee and tea selection, a barista quality gooseneck kettle, small compost bin, noise maker and ear plugs, and the list goes on! This was way better than a hotel in many ways. Highly recommended!”
