Found a beautiful pair of boots that fit very well. No sales help though. We were on our own. $155

The people that own/work there are very unprofessional and hateful. I called to see what their holiday hours were. The answering machine said they were open til 7pm. At 6pm they turned the lights out on us. I told them I called and the answering machine said they were open til 7pm. They acted like I was crazy. Won’t be going back there.

After waiting 9 months on a hat with a 6-10 week lead time they cancelled my order and will not refund my order wanting me to seek a refund with my cc provider instead. My only guess is they didn't take being called thieving bastards too well.

Made me feel like I was in Texas walking in here. Boots, belts and tack, with a full service leather repair shop in the basement. Staff is fantastic.

I had a fantastic experience at Jackson's Western Boot Store! The atmosphere was just what you'd hope for in a Western store – rustic and inviting. Their selection of boots and apparel was impressive, offering something for every taste. What really stood out was the excellent customer service. Nathan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, patiently answering all my questions. Amy, who works there, is an absolute sweetheart and made me feel right at home.I also appreciate their commitment to supporting local businesses. It's heartwarming to see a store that cares about its community. And don't even get me started on their annual "porch sale" – the deals were unbelievable! If you're a Western enthusiast, or just looking for quality boots and friendly service, Jackson's is the place to go.

I use live close by and would get all my dog collars made here to perfection. I went here this past April 2023 for my birthday to get my puppy her first collar. However, I now live in Seattle, WA. They were willing to walk us through and pick out stuff that would work. We wanted to get a pink stain for the leather, but he quickly talked us out of it saying it wouldn't be very bright and wouldn't look good. He said painting it would be best and last longer. As we expected, a month into wearing the collar, the paint is cracked. Chipped. And coming apart..However, let's back up.No price for shipping was given or mentioned during my visit (also my fsult for not checking)... Once I returned to Seattle, I waited for a call from the Leatherman making the piece, which he said would be done in a day or two. A month goes by, and they finally reach out saying it's finished and ready to ship. A $17 dog collar was $22 to ship according to Jacksons.. only ounces in weight and can fit entirely in the palm of my hand.. $22.. I regretfully paid for it because it was already such a headache getting this far and oh yeah. Im 1000+ miles away... What else could I do?... Well, Shipping took over a month for that $22..Back to today as I'm investigating the pealing paint resembling my decision in trusting Jacksons, I notice they have 2 numbers misplaced on BOTH of the phone numbers given... This piece and my love for Jacksons is completely ruined. Shopping at Jacksons once used to be a point of pride. Never again-A much more attentive and highly skilled LeatherWOMAN can be found in downtown Asheville. Don't waste your money or time at Jacksons-

Loved to visit the leather shop growing up. It has certainly changed now, and some of the leather is in short supply, like everything else in this country. Couldn't get my harness leather belt like I did 20 years ago. Gonna have to look somewhere else.

First time in. Great place. I thought prices were fair esp. if you’ve ever been in a store like this before. Don’t come broke… The gal that helped me and my wife was awesome. Bought 2 pairs of boots and definitely going back for belts later. Big selection from affordable to high end. Recommend ??

Excellent customer service! I’m an Asheville native, lived here my whole life. I just had my first visit to Jackson’s ever. Amazing experience! I was assisted by Linda in the leather shop, she and the staff replaced a belt buckle for me. Linda made me feel right at home! No wonder they have been an Asheville staple since 1935! Will definitely be back!

Prices were quite high, selection is kinda meh, BUT the reason for the 1 star is the older lady who was working. For some reason she was extremely rude to my wife and me when we asked about ordering some boots Maybe this store is the only game in town, but that's no excuse for being mean. Her attitude is doing this store a huge disservice!

Overpriced, horrendous customer service and the most unappealing unfriendly atmosphere of a family owned store. My family has bought overpriced stuff from here for years. I never liked being there and bought a hat there ONCE recently. The old woman who I can only assume came with the building was abrupt and rude with me about where I could get a hat shaped since they sell i shaped hats and own a steamer but they don’t offer the service (makes sense?). I spent over $130 on a hat and you can’t even give me the courtesy or respect to politely refer me to somewhere closer than Pigeon Forge, TN. I went in on another occasion to inquire about boots for sale and it was dead, per usual, and when I inquired about a pair the SAME old woman was yet again crotchety and unhelpful. I take pride in shopping with family owned businesses, but Jackson’s has got to be the saddest thing I’ve seen consistently for decades.

They ALWAYS have the best selection of clothes, boots, hats & more. They keep up with the styles. It's hard not to spend all day in there. All the employees are amazing & they really do know what they are talking about. It is really the best western store in NC. Definitely worth the money!

This is a cute little store with tons of boots and riding gear. They also have clothes, hats and accessories. We went in for a belt and the service was friendly and quick.
