Odyssey ClayWorks is a pottery studio and gallery in Asheville's historic River Arts District. It is an educational studio based on a philosophy of community and challenging instruction. The studio offers wonderful classes at a very reasonable price, which include open studio hours and many available tools. It is also a wonderful gallery with a wonderful selection of different pottery at different price points, featuring local artisans. The instructors are wonderful, very talented, helpful, patient, and great teachers who make the experience fun. Students and families, including beginners, learn so much and love it. The River Arts District has many studios, and a visit is highly recommended.
Private pottery lesson with Tricia. The studio is clean, organized and well stocked. Tricia is an excellent teacher; knowledgeable, helpful and gregarious. We brought our toddler and she was well accommodated, extremely enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

Just took a private lesson with Kelsey and she was a fantastic and uplifting teacher. She really knows how to demonstrate and guide a student to be able to make a centered pot in no time.
