If you want to find appropriate footwear but don't want to spend all day finding the right shoe, and want someone who WANTS to help you, this is THE spot!Thad was my shoe finder. One word...AMAZING! I hate to shop so I put it off until I can't stand my shoes anymore and they resemble little pieces of rubber more than a shoe. I'm also a busy person so I don't have all day to try to figure out the right shoes for my feet. Here's what happened:I was pleasantly greeted immediately, asked if they could help and what I was looking for (which I didn't really know I just told him the kind of shoe I liked and what I wanted shoes for). In less than 45 minutes I found all three pairs I needed and got an extra pair I never looked at buying before but discovered through Thad's best picks for me, was indeed a great choice.The best part? I didn't feel rushed, had plenty of conversation and didn't have to do anything but put shoes on and walk around while Thad told me about the shoe and asked me how they felt. The other person working was also friendly.The whole experience felt like I was there to actually enjoy myself versus my 'this is an errand' approach I usually take with shopping.AMAZING.Oh, and they have an extremely versatile selection. “This store is AMAZING. I have hard to fit feet (narrow, high arches, plantar fasciitis) and often struggle to find the right fit and size when shopping online. However, no problem here! The staff know their stuff, the selection is top notch - it is a highlight of visiting Asheville. And, such a rarity to find a full- service shoe store! Heidi patiently and knowledgeably helped me find the right fit in flats and boots, with a smile and some great ideas for tweaking the fit. She was awesome and I can’t wait to wear my new shoes!”

“Went in on a whim today because my knock off’s ripped. the man who helped me was AMAZING. i unfortunately did not catch his name but he had very cool tattoos, long hair and gaged ears. i was a huge fan of him. i kept picking shoes that didnt match my size and he would go back and forth from the back to from to help me. he was the main reason i bought 2 pairs and not just one. and the recommendation for the comfort vans was top notch omg im obsessed. definitely check this location out. 10/10”

“I went to this store in desperate need of business clothes. I had walked around the store for a while when a saleswoman, Megan, asked my size. She was very friendly and pointed and brought me to the correct section. She asked me what I was looking for and fitted me to ensure I was wearing the correct size. For the entirety of my visit, Megan was taking clothes and putting them back if they didn't work for me, bringing me clothes and sizes that would fit or that she thought would meet my needs, and giving me her thoughts on the way the clothes fit. She made sure I was well taken care of, answered every question I had, addressed all of my concerns knowledgeably, and served us other guests in the process. Megan was skilled, confident, and honest as she helped me with anything I needed. I found a couple of outfits with her amazing help. ATF has gained another loyal customer!”

I looked everywhere for a pair of shoes that my husband wanted. He purchased two pairs years ago in different colors and loves wearing them. He wanted a new pair of brown ones. I thought that I had found a pair out of state, only to find out a week later that they were out of stock and that the style has been discontinued. I finally admitted defeat, and my husband decided on another pair.
Since the Asheville area was devestated by Hurricane Helene, I decided to call them and order them, rather than ordering them online. I will call the store from now on!
While ordering the new pair of shoes that my husband wanted, I told the sales associate helping me, Miles (#669615), about the shoes that I could not find. He told me that he may be able to locate a pair since he could view other stores' inventory. He told me that the website may be out of stock, but the stores may still have some of the shoes available.
I held the phone while he looked for the shoes, and I was ecstatic when he returned to the phone and told me that he had found the very last pair in my husband's size at a store in Arizona! I purchased those shoes and the new pair that my husband wanted. I didn't tell him, because I wanted to surprise him.
My husband received his surprise yesterday, and he was so excited when he saw them. He was confused when he first oped the box, but quickly realized what he was holding in his hands.
I am so glad that I called the Asheville store. Thank you so much for helping me locate my husband's favorite style of shoes! I will call your store from now on. Your customer service is awesome!”

“This company is an absolute lifesaver, I am on vacation in pigeon Forge, Tennessee with my family. Once we got here, we realize we were missing some critical parts in our ski gear That did not come in the box, we call the manufacturer, and they were absolutely no help Whatsoever. We found ski country online, called them, and spoke to a guy named Ford. This guy bent over backwards, in every way possible to help us, he found the exact exact parts We needed, made sure we had every other thing that we Possible needed to be able to enjoy our time on the mountain, then he personally packaged our items, brought them to the shipping store and overnighted them to us himself to make sure we had everything we needed in time! After a pedi this afternoon next door I called over to see if they carried readers as I remembered maybe seeing a display there before...the woman who answered the phone couldn't have been nicer and I popped in.I of course had to concentrate on the task at hand having wet toes and knowing there would be no trying on shoes haha!Just wanted to mention that the woman who helped me today could not have been nicer.
