“As a dad to two little kids, I love toy stores. Also as someone who gets a dopamine hit from nostalgia, I love toy stores. Add in when they're local, fairly priced, and have great toys and games and we've got ourselves a winner! I sort of happened to crane my neck at just the right time to catch this little spot, nestled into a nook in downtown Asheville. Glad I did as I always like to bring my girls back something from my trips, and it's the holiday season. I'm familiar with a lot of these toys, having stepped and tripped over them over the years. There are some great ones that range from infant all the way up to the pre-teen age when they're too cool to play with them anymore. TL;DR; fun, local toy store that you should visit!”

“The best toy store in Asheville! I absolutely adore dancing bear and I have been going there since I was a kid. I'm in my twenties now and I still love to stop by there to grab toys for friends and family (and sometimes for myself if i'm being honest). They have an amazing selection of toys and the staff are some of the nicest people ever. If you are a fan of jellycats or calico critters they have so many! They also recently started selling sonny angels which have been great gifts. The atmosphere of the store is so cute and I love that there is always parking available. I also appreciate that they do free gift wrapping! Overall It's just a great place!!”
