“Last fall, I became the sudden and unexpected caretaker of a senior bearded dragon, who is my first-ever reptile. After making some immediate habitat and lighting upgrades, my next step was to see where his overall heath was at and get him established with a vet. I chose Sweeten Creek based off of how well reviewed they are, and because they were very informative when I called with questions prior to making an appointment, and I'm glad I did. Every staff member is friendly and kind; the reptile specialist is thorough, knowledgeable, and took his time answering all of my questions and concerns; our veterinary nurse was very sweet and had a bearded dragon of her own that we chatted a bit about! The reptile specialist and vet technician made sure Tiny was comfortable and relaxed the whole exam, and they explained everything they did throughout the check-up. I got more information about his general care and a proper gut-loading routine for his live bugs, which I really appreciated! This office was also very helpful with testing some samples to make sure he didn't have a parasitic overload while he was slowing down for brumation. They reached out with visit summaries and follow-up calls for every appointment, and in my opinion, charge very reasonably for their services. I will absolutely be going to Sweeten Creek for all of my future veterinarian needs, and I'll be highly recommending them to anyone who asks! Thanks so much for your compassionate care and expertise. I'm grateful to live so close to such a fantastic exotics vet.”

“I’m incredibly grateful for the care my cat received at SAVES.
I brought my cat from another emergency practice in Tennessee that was closing overnight, as I felt he needed monitoring at a 24-hour hospital due to a urinary obstruction. I called ahead, confirmed that his records had been sent, and when I arrived, they were already expecting us.
I spoke with the doctor right away (Dr. Wedig), who clearly explained the treatment options and the need for hospitalization and extended catheter placement. I was extremely distraught at the time, and the entire team met that energy with compassion and calm reassurance. I also shared my concern about avoiding opioid sedatives due to a suspected link to the obstruction, and they were very open and respectful of that discussion.
During his two-and-a-half-day hospitalization, I received daily calls from the doctor. When I called for updates myself, I was always able to get timely and helpful information. My cat was released promptly once appropriate, and I’m deeply thankful for the care that helped him recover.
I hope I won’t need emergency care again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to return here.”

“Cannot say enough good things! My dog, Willow was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and I decided to try acupuncture instead of rushing into surgery. Willow absolutely loves Kristi and we’ve been able to manage her pain without needing surgery. She’s very knowledgeable and loves what she does. Willow sometimes has flair ups and Dr. Kristi always makes time in her schedule to fit us in for an appointment. I would absolutely recommend for any dog going through similar problems or even as a preventive.”

They really do care about your pets health and well-being. We just recently had to put our dog Ginger down. While it was one of the hardest decisions we have even had to make, they helped us thought he process and made sure that she was comfortable. We just received a card from the staff. “Excellent service and super easy process for check in and checkout. Fees are listed and paid for up front and my kitten was to her normal self the day after her spay! It did take me a couple weeks of checking the page at 10am to finally snag a spot so you have to keep at it and checkout fast!! It's worth the wait!”
“After hearing at one vet that they did not know what was wrong with my dog, over and over again, I decided it was time for another opinion. I was able to get in quickly to meet with Dr. Bertelli, and within minutes, she gave me a diagnosis that made perfect sense. I left with two wonderful, modern products that brought my dog relief almost immediately. I have a followup appointment but my dog is essentially healed and back to her old self. I cannot recommend this vet or her clinic enough. They are purely professional with modern equipment and a progressive attitude. I will not take my pets anywhere else. They are a 5 star facility in every sense of the word.”
