“I called the ofc on Friday afternoon at the recommendation of our home Vet. Our older dog Daisy has/had been sick for 4 weeks @ that point. She saw 3 Vet practices during this time period with this ofc making the 4th. None of the others could figure out what was wrong with her or even a solid theory. After each appt & trying new meds or increasing the ones she was already she still continued to get worse. She had suffered a good amount the entire time & was absolutely miserable. Not only did this ofc squeeze Daisy in for that evening, despite her not being a current patient of the practice, but they were so incredibly understanding. Despite the appt being the last of their night, they didn't rush us at all. The Tech & Vet weresaw were so kind & gentle with Daisy. You could tell that these wonderful ladies had become part of this career field out of love & compassion. They went above & beyond to make sure she was as comfortable as possible given the situation. By the end of that appt we had a real idea finally as to what was going on. It was found while doing an exam that each of the prior Vets had done when Daisy was in their ofc for care. Unfortunately they were somehow unable to detect what this Dr did. We also discussed what the next steps would most likely be. They understood how much quality of life meant to us & how much & for how long she'd been suffering. We followed each of the prior recommendations in hopes theydhelp her feel a little better until someone could figure this out. This Vet came up with a comfort plan of her own & it has been nothing short of a miracle. It isn't a cure by any means & we know that but it has helped her so much. She's finally able to sit longer than 15-20 mins at a time. She'd spent all of her time leading up to this Vet appt pacing, panting, yelping, & whimpering while pretty much constantly trying to find a comfortable position to sit or lay in. She's walking & sitting again so much better. This is allowing her to stand up on her own & on the 1st try. Today she's voluntarily climbed our stairs a few times on her own, I'm watching her peacefully sleep as i type this. Something I wasn't sure she'd get to experience again. I'm so incredibly grateful to this ofc & the amazing staff!!!! “After problems with two different vets , my daughter suggested I go to her vet, THE Pet Vet. They allowed us to come in within a few hours for our 4 month old puppy fell and injured ? her leg which was in a cast. Puppy was howling in pain. Pet Vet explained, with great diplomacy, that the cast was all wrong. The top of the cast was right where the fracture is, causing extreme pain. Additionally, previous vet put a cast on all the way down her leg, very straight. As a result, her "ankle" was hyperextended and growing straight instead of the bend. These people at PVet are amazing! The owner called me and took a long time explaining and answered my questions. I'm sorry I forgot the vets name. The vet techs are INCREDIBLY kind, loving and GENUINELY CARES FOR YOUR PETS. I WISH I COULD GO INTO MORE DETAIL ABOUT OUR PUPPY, THE "MISTREATMENT " from another vet. ?. “We’ve had an excellent experience with West Asheville Family Vet. Their team is professional and super kind. Since one of my dogs was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, we have spent more time than planned at the vet this year. I feel grateful to have a vet that is transparent about cost and willing to take the time to discuss treatment.Huge thanks to Ali and Randi at the front desk who helped schedule all our appts, our amazing tech Megan who brought good vibes and tons of info, and also to Dr. Couch who took all the time we needed when we had questions and made us feel really supported.The cancer diagnosis felt like it pulled the rug out from under us, and their team showed up for us and took great care of my dog. Stella is doing great after her surgery, and I know that WAFV will be there for our family in the future. ❤️”

“Carolina Family Vet is by far the best vet we've ever taken our 14 and 12 year old dogs too. We moved to the area in the fall and selected Carolina Family Vet based on reviews we read as we did not know anyone in the area. Dr. Miller was very thorough and great at explaining everything, all of the staff are so nice and knowledgable as well, the facility is very well maintained. Our 14 year old Shiba Inu Oreo had to have a good amount of teeth removed this week. During the procedure that day, we received phone call updates throughout the day and when we picked her up, were given a full rundown by the vet tech and a great little decorated take home bag with instructions, medications and special instructions with how sweet and well behaved she was. The next day, we received a follow up call the next day to check up on her to make sure we didn't need anything additional before they closed for the week as it was a Friday. We also received a discount on the surgery because February is National Pet Dental Awareness Month. Very positive experience overall and Oreo is recovering nicely!”

“Excellent facility & staff! I have been taking my dog to see Dr Karen Reynolds at Waghab for quite some time for regular chiropractic sessions. Dr Karen has a very gentle and exceptionally thorough chiropractic approach, and she is amazing with my dog. When my dog ruptured her acl/ccl, I’m so thankful that Dr Karen emphasized the importance of physical therapy work and told me about Megan. Megan is extremely knowledgeable, has years of experience with various situations, and shares information in a way I can understand and apply to my dog. I especially appreciate Megan’s open mindedness as she works with me to guide both me and my dog through the rehab process (I decided against surgery). I love that my dog is always excited to see Megan. In addition, everyone at Waghab that has facilitated our underwater treadmill sessions has been over-the-top-kind-and-compassionate with my sensitive dog. Bottom line, my dog is getting better and she is clearly happy when we go there. Highly recommend.”

“After an emergency visit to MedVet at 4am Sunday morning, my dog Teddy was seen the next morning on an Emergency basis by Dr Holden as a new patient. I wanted to have him checked out after he had been prescribed a Nsaid med four days earlier for a problem he didn't have by another local vet and developed vomiting and bloody diarrhea. MedVet gave him a shot for nausea and some additional Rxs.Dr Holden reviewed the orders, expertly examined Teddy, and recommended he not take one of the inappropriate/too strong meds…and added two other Rxs that are calming to the GI tract.This is a vet practice that presents experienced practitioners and vet techs.I am confident that my pet Teddy will be receiving the most appropriate medical attention as we trust Haw Creek Animal Hospital with his care.”

“Nice service, all of the staff and medical personnel are so professional! My dog had a bad toe and the vet we used to go to saw him twice and was unable to schedule a surgery. It looked like they didn't care, so a friend recommended me Asheville Veterinary Associates. We got scheduled right away and after seeing him and checking medical notes, they scheduled him for surgery a day after. They took good care of my dog and now we all live them.”

“Love this practice and the people there. Both doctors take such good care of my babies. Dr. Bertelli diagnosed my dog of 6 years with a thyroid condition, something no other vet ever tested for. Now he is so much happier and more energetic. My first experience with this practice sold me as a customer.Today they were able to get them in for a last minute appointment to avoid me having to run to the emergency vet. And again, the care from Dr. Hawkins was great. She made sure to talk me through everything and to spend time listening to the questions and concerns I had. I never feel like the vets at this practice are rushing to get to the next patient. They take their time to explain what’s happening.Special shoutout to Nikki for always being SO sweet and caring. After my dog’s last emergency visit (at another practice) Nikki called to check in on my dogs after she received the notes from the other provider. They are constantly going above and beyond to make sure that our pets stay happy and healthy. Can’t recommend this place enough. The staff is AWESOME. Keep up the great work!”

Finding Dr Beth was a true blessing, we got excellent results with acupuncture in just a few sessions and then continued doing it once a month to maintain. With her care, knowledge and wonderful treatments, she made my dog’s last year of life so much better, pain free and loving life as he always did.”

“This place is wonderful! They have a very caring staff. I came in with a chicken with a compound fracture. I was in tears. I think they knew they couldn't save him, but for me and for a chance they worked on him to help me. They are not a farm animals vet! He did die, but I believe they gave him something for the pain to make his passing easier.”

“This man is amazing. He is super kind and gentle and in just one visit cured our dog of her rotating limp. The vet wanted over $200 for x-rays so I thought “why not try this first” and it worked. It’s been a year and her rotating limp just came back (probably a back issue) and I am about to make another appointment. I have complete confidence he will cure her yet again. He even gave us physical therapy exercises to do at home. Top notch person and an obvious animal lover.”

“Initially, my pet rat was referred to Dr Bolt by my regular vet due to a worsening condition. Dr Bolt's knowledge in treating exotics is second to none. His practice has the specialized equipment necessary for diagnostics and medical treatment of very small pets. Dr Bolt's exams are thorough and his knowledge immense. After a detailed explanation of the issues he found with my rattie, he presented me with several treatment options depending on what I felt comfortable with. Dr Bolt is now my go-to veterinarian for all three of my rattie boys. I cannot recommend him enough. And huge hugs to Michelle and LeighAnn at Sweeten Creek Animal and Bird Hospital for being the sweetest, most caring ladies!! A friendly voice on the line and bright, welcoming smiles in person mean a lot to me, especially when my rattie boy is having a difficult time.”

“This was our first visit with Best Friends Mobile Vet Clinic and I am so happy with theirService. We have a very lg. dog who doesn'ttravel well and he was having trouble with his leg. The tech and the Dr. were so patient with him , they gave him time to adjust to being touched by them. The Dr. was able to find the problem and gave us the prescriptions to help our dog with specific directions to care for our dog. We noticed the next day , therewas improvement and each day thereaftermore improvement. We are so happy to seeour dog clearly walking without pain. Wewill be calling them for all our pets needs.”
