“I have been living here in Windsor since 2012 and this Food Lion is my Home Store. Cierra Demsey stood out by going Above and Beyond. Sale items was not on the floor and Ms. Dempsey went to the back and got a U-Boat and brought out the items several customers were looking for. In others visits she took care of 3 customers at one time. Ms. Demsey always has a good positive attitude towards her customers. Keep up the good work. Thank you.”

“Great food! I was skeptical, yet super impressed! The mashed potatos are real not instant and the pork chop is off the chain! Like an old dusty hard back book with no cover, you would never expect it. Yet it does not fail to deliver! I would not have tried it but being pregnant with twins and on a long road trip, I found myself famished and it was the first thing in site for miles. I chose the pork chop with gravy, mashed potatoes/ gravy, and stewed apples. Albeit, not the most healthy choice, it was fantastically a great soul food day I enjoyed treating myself with. Whoever is in charge of the menu, cooking, etc. should consider opening a full restaurant with a wider variety, I'm sure it would be sucsessful!!! After I left and consumed my meal I contemplated turning back just to give the chef a hug!”
“Dollar General has wheel-chair access. The store is filled to the brim with products that are needed for basic care: milk, break, some refrigerated items, snacks, some alcohol, health and beauty, paper products, and fun seasonal things. Prices are extremely reasonable.”

“Always love the meats! best semi dry sausage, fresh lil' chickens ( we like them young, tender and under 3 lbs to split in half and grill barbeque!) fresh ground hamburger and tenderloins...they also offer ole' timey recipe staples like Cattail Cornmeal that you cannot find in big box grocery stores. Love the owners, great people! such a cool place to have close to home...”
