“Perfect location for grocery shopping before crossing the bridge to Oak Island. Consistent selection with other Food Lion stores. The produce section is always well stocked with fresh fruit and veggies. The wing bar is a 10 out of 10. Lots of prepared foods including 3 different salads. Every time I've been there, they have had multiple registers open plus the self checkout. All staff are cordial and helpful.”

“When I first heard about publix, a store for the "rich folks", I was honestly apprehensive about going. Felt certain employees would be rude.I was wrong. While there can be a few, like anywhere, the employees are really nice! Helpful.Hot food from the deli is delicious. Bakery? My favorite place. Subs? Well...if you like more bread than meat. You can add more to the sandwich base before charging more. Which is why a 4 star”

“Omg, this place is amazing!! My bf and I stopped in during Memorial Day weekend to pick up beer/wine hostess gifts before staying with family in St James. Being from NY, just being able to have the convenience of finding both good wine and good beer in a grocery store is amazing enough, but this is the best grocery chain I think I've ever been to. The employees are super friendly, even complimenting me on my Smashing Pumpkins shirt and swapping concert experience stories :) They have a "snip your own" fresh herb garden, again, lots of local beer, cheeses, BBQ sauces, mustards, inhouse smoked/cured meats. They even have a little beer corner with taps so you can either fill a growler, sit and relax with a drink, or walk around with it while you shop. We even picked up fire works, just for fun”

“Great place to stop and they have gifts for everyone. From fudge, to ice cream to the good taffy. They have great gifts and clothing and there is some good items for gag gifts. You have to check out every little spot in this store. You will leave with something every time. They have clothing, kitchen items, seasoning, wine, beer.”

“The shelves are stocked very neatly and this store was clean and orderly. The staff are very friendly and attentive. All staff wore masks, but sadly, only about 50% of customers wore them :-/. This is despite the signage at the entrance. A few of the advertised items were out of stock.”

“My last review was not long ago. I don’t know if they hired all new staff or what, but it’s improved a bit. The store is stocked well and the staff have better attitudes. I would not recommend shopping there on a hot day, though, because the air conditioning is only subpar.”

“It is very convenient and the staff is friendly. When we vacation on BHI, I am certain members of our group are there at least once a day! There is a variety of choices (they even carry "Stadium Mustard" - a staple in many NE Ohio homes!). Sure, prices are a few dollars more than you would be paying at mainland stores, but really that shouldn't be too much of a shocker; if you have forgotten something in the supplies you brought, you're going to be happy the market is there, regardless.”
