This is a better Best Western close to Sugar Mountain and pretty close to Beech Mountain for skiing. The front desk were super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is average but just fine, and plentiful, and the coffee was hot!The room was clean and comfortable, hot water ran hot and didn't run out, even with a couple of baths and showers. TV worked fine, with standard channels, better picture quality than expected.Rooms: Very comfortable and warm, the bathroom and bedding was very clean.Nearby activities: Close to ski slopes and eateries.Walkability: Not much to get to on foot; my son and I crossed the road to eat at a good Asian restaurant.Food & drinks: The hotel supplies breakfast, which was just fine, but the only other food and drinks were from vending machines, which of the three I tried didn't take dollar bills. The front desk were happy to exchange for quarters. There were few options and nothing healthy, except water!

Heather, Renee, Tanner (I wish I could name them all) were our guardian angels! Truck broke down and they had a place for us to stay, made sure we had food and everything we needed! Went above and beyond to make us feel safe and that we were in good hands! Room was very clean. Beds comfortable. Property is beautiful! Will be coming back and staying here! They truly made us feel like family. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our (brief) stay! The room was cozy, clean, nicely decorated, and well equiped. They provided a pack n play for our baby. Breakfast was good, a wide variety of food. Check-in and out was easy and quick. Location is convenient to restaurants and other needs. Its fairly close to Beech Mtn Ski Resort. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

This is an ok hotel. It could use a remodel. Carpets are a little worn out. Sink was cracked. Rooms didn't smell bad but just older. Front desk people were amazing and friendly. I would stay here again. Just not the top of the list.

When making reservations over a month ago, I talked to the property and was assured that the pet fee was $10 per night and the website confirms this.FYI to prospective guests. This property WILL charge you $20 per night for every night you are there.Deceptive practices. If it were $50 per night and they were up front about it, I would have no issue with it. They also DO NOT service the room daily, you have to make your own bed and request towels when needed.Breakfast is mediocre at best.

We had a good experience! Ronnie assisted us at the front desk and she was great, friendly and very accommodating. The room was comfortable and the price was good plus the location was good, close to downtown.
